Lula Lounge is Toronto's home to live salsa, Brazilian, world and jazz music featuring diverse local talent as well as concerts by international artists. Each weekend we offer a dinner and show package that includes a three course tropical fusion meal, a beginner dance lesson and great live music for your dancing pleasure.
Our Family Sunday Brunch is a great place to celebrate birthdays with the whole family.

I was not impressed with the food. I found the the taste was not up to par with the price.

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it. Our food was excellent, our waiter was attentive, and the atmosphere was amazing. The dance lesson was fun and engaging and the music (both the band and DJ) were excellent. Everyone looked like they were having a great time, and we throughly enjoyed dancing the night away. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The experience will be better if music levels will be adjusted. The party can’t talk as we can hear each other. If speakers will be lower then you could hear the musicians words of the songs. We were there for the music. You couldn’t understand at all the female singer . Definitely the ambience of dancing exits but I will not recommend as the music level is extremely loud. I am a music lover.

From the phone call earlier in the week to confirm the reservation, through to the end of our night, the staff at Lula were spot-on: Friendly and very welcoming. They accommodated a seating request which was appreciated. This was my first time dining at Lula since before the pandemic and I did notice a couple changes. 1. In the past, there was some light entertainment during dinner, before the salsa lesson. I don't know if this was standard or just happened to be something random on the nights I had attended. In any case, I missed that extra performance this time. 2. I remember always liking the food at Lula. At this most recent visit, I found it only adequate. As part of the prix fix menu, I ordered the corn/avocado salad, salmon and tres leches cake for dessert. The salad was standard and had very little corn. The salmon was very overcooked and drier than the Sahara desert. The server did do a brief quality-check but it was very early into receiving our meals and we didn't see him after that. I would have mentioned how dry the salmon was but I doubt I would have returned it. It wasn't inedible, but it was as not good. A chef ought to have known not to send out that dish. While beverages regularly took a while to arrive, they were tasty and well-made. However, to go to Lula and focus on the food would be silly. Food is just a bonus. The entertainment and the crowd are what to go for. I was dining with my friend who had never been to Lula before, and her comment was, "Everyone here is so happy!" ... And that is the reason to go. So, based on my last experience, I would absolutely return. The staff were wonderful, the musicians were talented entertainers and the crowd was vibrant. I just would never order the salmon again. :)

Everything was unremarkable. The only thing we found was that there was NOT or minimum amount of ventilation. The ambience/air to breath was too, too hot! Thanks

The food was great, the music and the dance lesson before the band starts is so fun! I have a blast every time I come. I always come with friends but also meet new people each time, and often run into other people I already know. Definitely recommend.

The venue was good and the performance was outstanding. We had very good seating as we requested a close to stage table for two. Our son was playing that night and the reservation team made sure we received the perfect table. The dining cost was reasonable and the quality was good, not out of this world, but considering it is an entertainment venue, it was acceptable. It was a limited menu, from seeing the verity on their website on other dishes, it was a little disappointing. Over all, a great place to watch and listen to upcoming and established local musical talent.

Actually I have been there twice for a music event and it’s nice and very warm and friendly place but food is not good enough.
