We have been going to Luciano’s for 30 years unfortunately our latest dining experience was terrible. The food was cold, and my salad was swimming and dressing. We were seated in a room with 25 people celebrating a birthday. Should have been asked whether we wanted to be there or not it was not even a consideration when they sat us. I had the veal marsala virtually no mushrooms and it looked as though it was sitting in the kitchen for a while with the sauce on it because it was glazed over even I could tell it had been sitting for a while. The vegetables were cold . So $220 later I will still be a customer because I know Luciano’s standard and capability is. This is Diane Peters Michael’s wife. The reservation was made under his name, but I am writing the review.

Have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and always have a good experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Food is excellent.

This was our first time dining at Luciano’s but it won’t be our last. Fabulous double date night. Our waitress Marissa was top notch; the most epic server. She was prompt with drinks, funny & very personable, extremely knowledgeable about the menu -made excellent appetizer and dinner suggestions. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The restaurant atmosphere and ambience was so pretty -loved the murals and decor. I’ve traveled to Italy twice, the food here definitely reminded me of authentic Italian food. The prices may be a little pricey but not overly for most items. (Food is much more expensive anywhere you go.) The portions are huge -all 4 of us had enough leftovers for another meal. All in all we all felt like a FIVE STAR experience here. We all had a great time and highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some delicious Italian food.

Let me preface this review by stating that the food, as always, was delicious. Our evening began later than anticipated as the restaurant was busier than expected. We were seated over 30 minutes after our reservation time. The Maitre'd (Marty) apologized for the wait. After being seated for fifteen minutes, our server, Frank, greeted us and then quickly scurried off to another table (he was responsible for several tables on this evening). After the waiter began taking our order, he abruptly left to answer another guest that called him over. He was then a blur of motion running around to various other tables. As a result, we were unable to place our order. By the time that he was able to take our order, it had been about one hour after being seated. Our waiter did mention that there were several problems impacting other guests which impeded his service to us. I have had Frank as a waiter many times and have never had service like this before, so I have to believe that the issues were beyond his control. Suffice it to say, once we had our food, everything was fine. I am hopeful that this was an isolated event.

We were seated promptly and shortly thereafter presented with a basket of superb crusty bread and some olive oil condiment. Our mixed drinks were spot on. Our food ( squid, veal, pasta) were well prepared and presented. The home made pasta was delicious and cooked perfectly, the veal tender and flavorful. We shared a tasty bread pudding for dessert . The only complaint I have is the noise level ; it was a bit loud at times. Considering the ambiance, service , food quality and value this is a fine dining establishment and with a visit.
