The first time there on November 2, was spot on!! Not so much this time. The service was not the greatest. I could understand if it was busy and they were overwhelmed but that was not the case, it was very quiet in there. My only complaint on the food was that the veal was over cooked, a bit too chewy for my liking.

Amazing food and great service once seated. We had a reservation for six o’clock and were not seated until 6:30. Which would have been okay but the hostess was rather rude.

Very good restaurant with good food. Not much room but that adds to the charm. Noise level was off the chart but that is to be expected. Service was very good.

I believe I've been to Lucia Ristorante a few times, but this is the first time in a few years. It is an easy to find place farther up Hanover Street. We met friends there with a reservation and arrived about 30 minutes early. We were sat promptly, which is nice. The cocktail menu was hard to read as it was faded to nothingness in a few places, but we managed to order a couple cocktails that were tasty. We also ordered a bottle of wine that went well with dinner and was reasonably priced. The food we had was largely tasty. What was surprising was the portion sizes on a few items. The antipasto platter included just two slices of cheese, two slices of three meats and some marinated vegetables. It seemed far below what the asking price was. The items were good (not great), but with so little, it was less than great. My friends split a meal that worked for them. I ordered my own past dish and finished it quickly. It was tasty, but...I never finish a pasta dish. There really wasn't much in the serving and I was still hungry afterwards. That's unusual for me. We had a tasty dessert and coffee at the end of the meal. Service was reasonably good and we received an accurate bill. It was a tasty meal in the North End, but quantity wise, I was left wanting...and again, I don't eat much.

The food was unsurpassed. We were greeted by a gentleman shortly after our meal which made the experience even better!! My mother was born in Sicily and I gotta tell you it was the closest thing I’ve had in the past 10 years outstanding portion. Everything was point on. I will be back with all of my friends trust me, thank you effortless sat down, had a meal and loved every part of it thanks.I’m so happy we found you!!

This is a louder north end restaurant. Their food is top notch. But for the same food and quieter setting try their Winchester location.

A big shout out to Frank who went out of his way to make us feel at home at his restaurant at our favorite table. The food was amazing, and the service was the best of our north end experiences. We’ll keep coming back.

We had the veal saltimbocca and chicken marsala, which were both delicious. The service was average. It was a little frustrating to have a reservation, but still have to wait 10-15 min to be seated. Overall, a great restaurant in the North End, and we would come back.

Long time North End Diner, first time @ Lucia. Pre-game dinner (Celtics). Party of 4 seated promptly, upstairs. Bread was fresh and prompt, meat & cheese antipasto was just enough for 4 as a starter. Found a reasonably priced Super Tuscan red wine. I had the Veal Saltimbocca w/Penne which was great. Tasted the Chicken Parm w/Penne which I would order the next time, did not try the Bolognese, but my guest enjoyed it. A little loud and tight seating, but that is to be expected in the North End. I’ll be back!
