Founded in 2006, Luce is a local favorite featuring many traditional dishes. Flavors which often bring our guests back to their best memories of Italian specialties.

My goal for this restaurant to create a warm environment for all guests that is typical of a true Italian heritage.

Our menu consists of many Buonincontri family recipes and recipes brought back from travel to Italy.

Fresh fish, meats and produce expound throughout Luce's offerings and a focus on the finest ingredients are what make Luce special.

House made Gnocchi, Italian rice balls and homemade Mozzarella are just a few examples our passion for the finest Italian food.The word Enoteca means wine library. The walls of the entire restaurant are covered with wine bottles as you would expect books to cover the walls of a library. Wine is a very important part of an experience at Luce, with over 125 choices from our wine list available to you.

As always, Luce was a delight. The food is delicious, and and I love how much of the menu is not the usual Italian fare. The saffron risotto with Italian sausage and langostino tail meat was excellent, as my husband's fettuccini with Italian sausage and chicken. One of my favorites, which I didn't order this time but have on several other visits, is Braciola alla Napoletana, described like this: "Thin Cut Beef, Rolled and Filled with Parsley, Pine Nuts, Bread Crumbs, Raisins, Parmigiano, Toasted Garlic Spinach, and Potatoes." Service was excellent, and the noise level was low outside. You can get less expensive Italian food elsewhere, but what Luce offers is reasonably priced for what you get.

the food was as good as always and the service was excellent. we were a party of 8 and the food service was timely.

I have been to Luce many times, but was disappointed with this visit. Tried the chicken dish on the "New Items" list. The breading was heavy, chicken was dry and the veggie risotto was undercooked and watery.

The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Enjoyed an evening out with friends and will look forward to the next visit.

Luce never disappoints. Our group had a wonderful evening visiting over drinks and eating delicious food. Our waiter was exceptional and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Luce!

This will be my first and last time visiting this restaurant. It look 30 minutes to get our appetizer. 55 minutes to get our entree. Our waitress completely was distracted and forgetful. We asked her for additional silverware she never brought it also, we asked her for water and parmesan cheese which she asked another waiter to assist us. My steak was cold un undercooked. To be completely honestly HEB desserts tastes better than this restaurant desserts. The tiramisu did not have any flavor whatsoever. We asked the manager what was taking so long for our food and he said let me check and he never returned with a response.

We have been going to Luce for years. Would recommend for date night, family celebrations and their holiday fair. Very accommodating for those special occasions especially those milestone birthdays. Whether you are a party or two or ten the experience will be above what you expect. Oh and the food superb especially those family recipe meatballs. You will leave full. Pat F.

Another amazing dinner at Luce last night. Everything was on target, from happy hour all the way through deserts. No detail was overlooked, wonderful hostess, bartender, waitstaff and owner Joe greeted guests like family probably because he has a strong following. Looking forward to our next visit.
