Founded in 2006, Luce is a local favorite featuring many traditional dishes. Flavors which often bring our guests back to their best memories of Italian specialties.

My goal for this restaurant to create a warm environment for all guests that is typical of a true Italian heritage.

Our menu consists of many Buonincontri family recipes and recipes brought back from travel to Italy.

Fresh fish, meats and produce expound throughout Luce's offerings and a focus on the finest ingredients are what make Luce special.

House made Gnocchi, Italian rice balls and homemade Mozzarella are just a few examples our passion for the finest Italian food.The word Enoteca means wine library. The walls of the entire restaurant are covered with wine bottles as you would expect books to cover the walls of a library. Wine is a very important part of an experience at Luce, with over 125 choices from our wine list available to you.

I have been to Luce many times, but was disappointed with this visit. Tried the chicken dish on the "New Items" list. The breading was heavy, chicken was dry and the veggie risotto was undercooked and watery.

The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Enjoyed an evening out with friends and will look forward to the next visit.

Luce never disappoints. Our group had a wonderful evening visiting over drinks and eating delicious food. Our waiter was exceptional and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Luce!

This will be my first and last time visiting this restaurant. It look 30 minutes to get our appetizer. 55 minutes to get our entree. Our waitress completely was distracted and forgetful. We asked her for additional silverware she never brought it also, we asked her for water and parmesan cheese which she asked another waiter to assist us. My steak was cold un undercooked. To be completely honestly HEB desserts tastes better than this restaurant desserts. The tiramisu did not have any flavor whatsoever. We asked the manager what was taking so long for our food and he said let me check and he never returned with a response.

We have been going to Luce for years. Would recommend for date night, family celebrations and their holiday fair. Very accommodating for those special occasions especially those milestone birthdays. Whether you are a party or two or ten the experience will be above what you expect. Oh and the food superb especially those family recipe meatballs. You will leave full. Pat F.

Another amazing dinner at Luce last night. Everything was on target, from happy hour all the way through deserts. No detail was overlooked, wonderful hostess, bartender, waitstaff and owner Joe greeted guests like family probably because he has a strong following. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went there for my son’s birthday & it was VERY disappointing. First, the server brought the entrees out first & mine was completely wrong. We had ordered 2 antipasto & 3 salads & these didn’t come out until we asked what happened to them after we got the entrees. He didn’t get a glass of wine that he ordered until he asked for it after we got the entrees. The salads were old & tasted like grit. $9 for an old Cesar salad that was inedible. The food was bland & tasteless. The fettuccini Alfredo tasted like a frozen Michelina’s dinner but worse. How can you mess up caprese salad but the tomatoes were soft & mealy & the mozzarella had no taste. We had to ask for water, salt & pepper, Parmesan cheese & a plate for the pizza. I don’t think the server had ever been one before & didn’t really seem to get it. The manager did take off the salads & the wine but the bill was still almost $200. I don’t think we’ll ever go back.
