Our waiter was very to-the-script. Whenever we tried to ask or tell him something, he was already 20 feet away. Just not the best waiter idk how else to put it. Food was very good, and so was the atmosphere. Sat downstairs so much quieter which was nice.

Great experience with our waiter Jeremy. Drinks and food were excellent. Hard to decide what to order because of the unusual menu but everything was good. Try the burnt carrots !!!

Our visit to Lonesome Dove was amazing! The service from Malik was fantastic! Everything we ordered was amazing - the Hamachi tostados were a favorite. The Garlic Stuffed Beef Tenderloin was so delicious I will return for that. Also had the trout, lamb chops and elk loin at the table and everyone loved their dishes. Malik then brought out the chef to meet us which was a special treat. We finished with the chocolate cake - out of this world! Another note - one of us is Gluten-Free and they brought out a special menu to outline what they could or could not have. This was amazing and well thought out - made the Gluten-Free member of our party included and felt they had options! Thank you Malik and Lonesome Dove for making our family night one to remember!

The food is great. We loved the oysters and the rattlesnake sausage. Both excellent! The Caesar salad was great and the butter leaf salad was Excellent. I ordered the beef tenderloin which was good but not hot when it came to the table. My husband had the rabbit ravioli and is was amazing! The service was wonderful and although my dinner was off a bit I would still go back and recommend.

Been to LD many times. This last visit was a bit off. Most of the meals were very good. The Halibut special was overcooked TWICE and outrageously priced at $85, which we only discovered when the bill came. Guess I shouldn’t have assumed but server never offered the price when describing the dish. My Elk Medallion dish, while very tasty, did not come to the table hot. Server was a bit humorless, seemed a bit frazzled at times, and appeared to have too many tables to cover. Thus, our service was lacking. The assistant manager, doubling as sommelier, was very much on point. Some of the decor felt aged. There were repairs done around the bathroom sink that just seemed shoddy. With the Michelin rating on the line, they need to step up their game. We have had the pleasure of dining at numerous starred restaurants. As much as we really do like LD, not going to be star worthy IMHO.

Everything was WONDERFUL! Anthony our server took extra special care of us for our anniversary. We loved every recommendation and enjoyed the meal. Food was delicious!

Our party of six enjoyed our dining experience very much. Two were from out of state and unfamiliar with a lot of Texas dishes but they were very happy with their experience. Our server, Malik, was outstanding, giving us just the right amount of attention. The manager, Adam, stopped by twice to check on us. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The only negative was my wood fired oysters. They were tiny! The three combined together didn’t even make one good sized oyster. I’m surprised you weren’t embarrassed to serve them. I felt a little cheated. But, all in all, a good experience.
