We offer two types of courses to suit each of the four seasons. Organic vegetables and A4 Japanese black beef are lavishly used. The restaurant boasts a stylish. atmosphere with a concrete floor, and the interior is decorated with seasonal artwork that changes with the seasons. It can also be used for girls' parties and date nights.
The chefs at Kaigetsu obtain rare vegetables from Hiroshi farmers and prepare them in innovative ways to create exciting new dishes. Not only are the vegetables used in this cuisine healthy for the body and mind, but they are also packed with flavor and visually pleasing on the plate. Kaigetsu’s popular menu items include jellyfish salad, fried Kirishima chicken and mackerel. Two set menu options are available. The Omakase course offers nine to ten dishes, while a lighter course includes seven dishes at a lower price. Kaigetsu also offers a cookery class, where students can learn professional methods of food preparation.

Essence is a casual restaurant that serves French cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Chef Shiro Naito opened the restaurant in 2010 to provide dishes that celebrate the essence of each season. Essence is conveniently located next to Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Its spacious dining area provides tables for guests and a private room for special occasions.
The menu at Essence offers themed seasonal courses. The restaurant uses organic, pesticide-free vegetables from Yoko Farms, has its fish and shellfish delivered directly from Hakodate and uses chemical-free fertilizer from Tokorozawa to grow some of its own ingredients.
