Le chef Matt Fortner présente une cuisine méditerranéenne rustique chez Lola, un restaurant exceptionnel dans la famille Tom Douglas au centre-ville. Ne manquez pas nos délicieux kebabs à l'ouzo, nos tagines salés cuits à la vapeur ou notre pain pita grillé à la commande, apporté frais de notre propre boulangerie Dahlia juste en face de la rue, deux fois par jour. Situé au cœur du quartier animé de Belltown, Lola offre l'expérience culinaire urbaine parfaite dans son environnement gai, à quelques minutes des boutiques du centre-ville et du cinéma au sud et de la musique et vie nocturne au nord sur la quatrième avenue. Nous nous sommes engagés à une communauté verte, 75% des déchets sont compostés et à soutenir nos producteurs locaux.

The food was terrible! Menu choices were limited, so one would expect the food offer would be good. But the flavor, quantity, options were all abysmal. The service was good. The ambience was fine. But frankly the food put us off everything else.

Valentines Day dinner but we went with the regular “big dinner” menu. The roast leg of lamb was so delicious but so were the other items on the menu. Best of all: the olive oil cake for dessert!

The coconut pie was outstanding. The Greek salad and lamb skewers were excellent. The calamari was OK, but not really better than you would get in a diner. There was a lot of coating, which obscured the flavor and texture of the calamari itself. It might still have been more enjoyable if it had been served really hot, but it came to the table barely warm. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, but she missed a couple of elements of excellent professional service. She did not offer the choice shown on the menu of potatoes or salad with the skewers, and the person who ordered them forgot to specify. He got the salad when he had been looking forward to the potatoes. I had ordered a full salad myself. Our server never returned to the table to check on us after the food was delivered. Another server picked up our plates when we were done, which is fine. But we wanted to order dessert and had to flag down another server to get the dessert menu. It was a very cold day, so it’s understandable that, even with the double door entry, the restaurant was cold with people going in and out all the time. It was so cold, though, that we kept our overcoats on through the entire meal. It may be impossible to better heat the restaurant because it’s in an old building, but if it were possible, it would have made the dining experience more enjoyable. We have been to Lola before and will come again. We just wanted to let them know that it was not the consistently excellent experience we have had in the past.

The food was good, but for the price the portions are small. If you order the kebabs for dinner you need to order sides as they don't come with anything. For the price, at least some pita and a side salad would have been appropriate.

our server was fantastic. Very patient while we all navigated through the menu. Food was delicious service impeccable. I highly recommend Lola

Been to Lola a few times for brunch. Today I came in with my wife and our aunt visiting from NC. We were sat a few minutes before our reservation at 10:15am and the place was very lively. The service staff were quick and attentive. Food came out hot and fairly quick for the restaurant being as packed as it was. We started off with the house made doughnuts which are a must get everytime coming in! I had the Oyster Mushroom omelet special and I loved it. Always a big fan of the smashed garlic potatoes.

A great stop for casual foodies in an absolutely positive you-get-what-you-see way... great drinks and delicious appetizers followed by tasty entrees. My first time, but went with friends who are regulars. I would come back for more, anytime!

Wonderful meal with perfectly prepared and presented dishes with Greek accents. Quite noisy with happy people. Popular. We had reservations at 5 on Saturday and the place was packed, but our table was waiting.
