Le chef Matt Fortner présente une cuisine méditerranéenne rustique chez Lola, un restaurant exceptionnel dans la famille Tom Douglas au centre-ville. Situé au cœur du quartier animé de Belltown, Lola offre l'expérience culinaire urbaine parfaite dans son environnement gai, à quelques minutes des boutiques du centre-ville et du cinéma au sud et de la musique et vie nocturne au nord sur la quatrième avenue. Superb lamb. Skip the kebobs. Zucchini and salad and oh that olive oil cake for dessert are a must

Had a fantastic dining experience at Lola. Our server Tyler took fantastic care of us, and it was such a treat to catch up with a friend over a delicious dinner. Don’t skip dessert!

Lola was recommended to me by a friend who recently visited Seattle, so I took my mom for her 65th birthday. We loved the decor and ambiance, and our server was lovely. We ordered tzatziki and the kalamata fig dip which arrived first. Tzatziki was excellent, the other dip was interesting, a unique take on tepanade, but a bit sweet for my liking. The Greek salad was fantastic- we loved how it was served with a big block of feta on top, just like it is in Greece. The horta was disappointing. I know that it’s not possible to find real horta greens here but I’ve had better substitutes at other Greek restaurants. These were undercooked kale and chard. No olive oil or lemon. Greek horta should be boiled well with plenty of olive oil. Perhaps Lola’s this is a healthy West Coast option that appeals to the majority. We decided to keep it and not say anything because it was still healthy and fresh. The lamb was extremely disappointing and we sent it back. The menu describes it as slow roasted leg of lamb, so we were expecting lamb shank on the bone. We received a pile of sliced lamb that was luke warm and flavourless. The server explained that that if she heated it up it would become over cooked and tough, so she offered more sauce. We still couldn’t stomach eating the cold lamb, especially at $39, and it was something we had been looking forward to all week. The sever was super accommodating and allowed us to select another main. We chose the halibut, which was fabulous. When the bill came the dips were QSA’d , and it said “customer relations” with a smiley face where the price had been taken off. As a server I thought that was a great touch. Overall the service was top notch- we really felt taken care of and that it was important to them that we enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food is just ok, considering the price point and the fact that everything is a-la cart- no side dishes included with the mains.

The food is terrific. The chicken skewers are juicy, tender and flavorful--at a lot of other places they are dried out. The roasted red pepper dip is awesome, ditto for the grilled zucchini--more flavor than usual. It's a great place for lunch or dinner, business or social.

Good service, great food and a nice atmosphere. If we are ever back in Seattle we would love to visit again.

Excellent stop downtown for a filling breakfast or a great lunch. The vibe is always good and the service is even better!

Great meal before hitting a musical at The Paramount. We started with MANTI: TURKISH LAMB DUMPLINGS, which were delish. The 3 meals we ordered were the lamb burger, the seafood tagine & the hanger stake. All were well seasoned and tasty. as were our cocktails: Prosecco, indio fizz & a drink with blackberries that I can't recall the name of. We will be back to try more!
