Cielos at Lodge on the Desert offers one of the best dining options in Southern Arizona. Dine on contemporary seasonal cuisine that pays tribute to Southwest ingredients. Complemented by classic craft cocktails featuring local spirits and a delectable wine list, Cielos is the perfect place for a romantic night out or a casual happy hour with friends.
The intimate space is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a spacious secluded Saltillo-tiled outdoor private patio featuring bistro string lighting, a four-sided, tiled fireplace for optimal year-round al fresco dining. Cielos and its Bar both reflect a genuine, richly authentic Southern Arizona historic charm and ambience including rough-hewn artist-design hand-painted wood beams, Mexican tin chandeliers, floating potted plants and shade sails.

We really loved the building and grounds and the historic nature of the property. The food was excellent, and the service was as well. Unfortunately, we were seated near a table of 10 and we could barely hear each other talk because they were so loud. Despite this, we would definitely go back again and hopefully sit somewhere a little more quiet where we can have a nice conversation. It was just a little bit too warm outside for us to sit on the patio.

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Amazing atmosphere right in the heart of Midtown. West, the bartender was fantastic and polite. I recommend everyone to go eat at this delicious and beautiful place.

Food was not good. Bread tastes like gas- I think they toast it on an open flame? Pasta overcooked and bland. Tamales were mushy, but sauce was delicious. Would go back for drinks because the patio is nice and staff were great, but I won’t eat there again.

The salmon and chicken entrees were superb. Well seasoned, tasty and served with the appropriate sides. Ben, our waiter, was excellent.

This restaurant is a gem! The service was great, the drinks are delicous. We had great and fast service, our waitress Amanda was very polite and helped us pick great dinners. The Hanger steak was cook perfect and the Pork Chop was the best I ever had. We will be back again and again.

Service was pretty slow considering the amount of people vs workers.. The place wasnt that crowded.. Food was flavorful and very well plated. Portion sizes was mediocre for the price.

We enjoy going here, good service, good food, but the room is too dark to actually see what I’m eating. The room conversation was really loud this time, probably because the music was also loud.
