Situé dans le 21c Museum Hotel de Lexington, Lockbox soutient son engagement envers l'approvisionnement en ingrédients locaux de haute qualité. Dirigé par le chef exécutif Jonathan Searle, Lockbox propose des préparations et des techniques de cuisson simples et réfléchies dans un cadre de brasserie contemporaine. Conçu par Deborah Berke Partners, le décor de Lockbox met en évidence les caractéristiques historiques du bâtiment comme les planchers en marbre d'origine, les détails décoratifs en plâtre, les grandes fenêtres en arche et même un coffre-fort historique qui a été converti en salle privée. Des tables communautaires dans la salle à manger et le lounge sont parfaites pour les grands groupes, ou pour permettre aux dîneurs seuls de faire des nouvelles rencontres lors de leur passage au restaurant.

The receptionist was extremely rude and displayed clear prejudice against Black people. They repeatedly overlooked our table while refilling water for others, leaving my glass empty. Overall, the staff, from the servers to the waiters, were collectively rude and discriminatory. The experience was awful, and I strongly discourage any Black individuals from supporting this restaurant.

The atmosphere and ambiance were great! The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious! The seating was a bit tight for my liking. Most of the seating is along walls with long couches on one side and chairs on the other. There was about 12" between us and the tables on either side. So, it's hard to have a private dinner, but it wouldn't deter me from going back. My wife and I truly enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful meal at Lockbox. Unique dishes and some exceptional 12c Select bourbons. Adam steered us to the right dishes and bourbons. Such fun! And amazing art!

Food and service were excellent. It was a very quiet Tuesday evening in the restaurant. It was a business dinner for out of town colleagues and they were very impressed.

Overall good experience, but was given some trouble for trying to use a gift card received from a friend who purchased it via email, as showed them the email thread that said the gift card would be available to us for pick up, and they did not have it and wouldn’t honor it.

Great beginning to New Year’s Eve! Two bourbon flights, a delicious dinner and great service. The mushroom toast is a must! The high ceilings help keep the noise level low, so you can actually have a conversation.
