Situé dans le 21c Museum Hotel de Lexington, Lockbox soutient son engagement envers l'approvisionnement en ingrédients locaux de haute qualité. Dirigé par le chef exécutif Jonathan Searle, Lockbox propose des préparations et des techniques de cuisson simples et réfléchies dans un cadre de brasserie contemporaine. Conçu par Deborah Berke Partners, le décor de Lockbox met en évidence les caractéristiques historiques du bâtiment comme les planchers en marbre d'origine, les détails décoratifs en plâtre, les grandes fenêtres en arche et même un coffre-fort historique qui a été converti en salle privée. Des tables communautaires dans la salle à manger et le lounge sont parfaites pour les grands groupes, ou pour permettre aux dîneurs seuls de faire des nouvelles rencontres lors de leur passage au restaurant.

Food and service were excellent. It was a very quiet Tuesday evening in the restaurant. It was a business dinner for out of town colleagues and they were very impressed.

Overall good experience, but was given some trouble for trying to use a gift card received from a friend who purchased it via email, as showed them the email thread that said the gift card would be available to us for pick up, and they did not have it and wouldn’t honor it.

Great beginning to New Year’s Eve! Two bourbon flights, a delicious dinner and great service. The mushroom toast is a must! The high ceilings help keep the noise level low, so you can actually have a conversation.

Fantastic as always! Chef Stephen and his team at 21c are the bees knees. Great service. You can't go to brunch here without having the banana brea. TRUST ME. Can't wait to go back.

The menu is limited but excellent. We had a a party of five. We ordered a lamb dish, a scallop dish (x2), a chicken dish, and gnocchi dish. All were excellent and beautiful presented. The cocktails were wonderful and the wine selection ample. We will be back.

We enjoyed a really enjoyable evening at the Lockbox last night. Very comfortable seating in a peaceful, sophisticated environment. Wait staff was helpful and available as needed. I loved the variety and inventiveness of the menu…there’s something for everyone on the menu.

Lockbox is consistently on point, offering fresh approaches to their curated menu! Our party enjoyed wonderfully prepared heirloom carrots, scallops, steak with Pom frites, and roasted chicken. We savored every morsel! Their cocktails and wine list accented our perfectly prepared dinner. Our visiting friends marvel about this delightful jewel in downtown Lexington, Ky. We love the ambiance, friendly staff, and top notch chefs!
