Situé dans le 21c Museum Hotel de Lexington, Lockbox soutient son engagement envers l'approvisionnement en ingrédients locaux de haute qualité. Dirigé par le chef exécutif Jonathan Searle, Lockbox propose des préparations et des techniques de cuisson simples et réfléchies dans un cadre de brasserie contemporaine. Conçu par Deborah Berke Partners, le décor de Lockbox met en évidence les caractéristiques historiques du bâtiment comme les planchers en marbre d'origine, les détails décoratifs en plâtre, les grandes fenêtres en arche et même un coffre-fort historique qui a été converti en salle privée. Des tables communautaires dans la salle à manger et le lounge sont parfaites pour les grands groupes, ou pour permettre aux dîneurs seuls de faire des nouvelles rencontres lors de leur passage au restaurant.

Deeply mediocre food, and very expensive. Got a bowl of “blistered” shishito peppers as an app. They were raw. Asked about it, and they brought out a “proper” bowl. Still more raw than cooked. And the quantity was so off. 4 people could not have finished all those peppers. The $19 burger with its pickles and Russian dressing is trying to be an upscale Big Mac. Well you hit it. Tasted just like a Big Mac, for $19. It came with fries. Greasy, soggy fries. McDonald’s gets that better. My wife enjoyed the half chicken. But she could only eat half of it because, who can eat half a chicken? Instead of $34 for a half chicken, maybe less chicken for less money? Servers were great. Nice atmosphere. Menu needs a rethink.

Great spot for a business lunch meeting. Nice to dine where the noise level is conducive to conversation. Food was very good as was the service. Only recommendation might be to add a salad or two to the daily brunch menu.

Perhaps the best cheeseburger in town. Other entrees and desserts are strong. Clearance Clarence is a great cocktail. Service was a bit slow but overall good. Great place to have a meal and check out their interesting art.

My apologies that the service you experienced was slower than expected and I will address this part of the review with the team. We love coming here for our anniversary or any other happy occasion. We always feel welcomed and are well taken care of. The burger is out favorite in town.

The new fall menu is outstanding! We nibbled and shared a salad of fennel, grapes, apples, and nuts that was lightly dressed with a lovely vinaigrette. The carrot side dish also made us happy! Roasted Heirloom carrots were plentiful and delicious. The fall spritzer is memorable! I’ve never had a bad experience at Lockbox-it is a Lexington gem!

Hello Anne! Our fall menu is amazing, I'm just going to type it. Chef Stephen has hit it out of the park with his creations for this particular seasonal menu and I'm so glad that you got to experience his hard work. I think I could eat a tub of those heirloom carrots. While we make different iterations of our spritzer, the fall version definitely brings all the autumnal vibes with it. There were 3 of us that reserved a table. I liked the ambience, and being able to carry on a conversation without problem. The art work was interesting. Our server was very prompt and courteous , and I liked that we were able to get our food pretty quickly , and the check quickly . The food was excellent. WE got as assortment of interesting appetizers . My 1/8th roasted chicken was generous and cooked to perfection.

Something was going on that was different from our other experiences at Lockbox. Our appetizers came before our cocktails; apps were quick and cocktails slow. Then we waited around 40 minutes for our main courses both of which came out lukewarm. An uncharacteristic less than stellar evening.

We started with the fried oysters and they were outstanding! Then the heirloom carrots and pork belly were fantastic - our entrees were the chicken and scallops were awesome plus Daric - our server was the best!
