One of our favorite restaurants because the ambience is subdued, service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. We think of Vinnie as “our server,” and everyone else he serves probably feels the same. All of the waitstaff are efficient and personable. Their house dressing is delicious and available to purchase by bottle to take home.

My partner's strip steak tasted off. Half was left on the plate. Later that evening and next day he had an upset stomach.

We made a reservation and were immediately seated. Very comfortable booth. Our server was Desiree. She made sure we understood the menu, drink list, appetizer, main course and dessert. We enjoyed the perch, trout and rigatoni. Everything was prepared perfectly. Also timed perfectly. Absolutely wonderful experience. Not our first time here definitely won't be the last.

I ended up getting the lasagna and it is so obvious that they make a large pan and just cut servings out of it. The top layer of my lasagna dish were dry and hard on two sides. It was not really all that appetizing when you have to spit food out into your cloth napkin. I had to do that a few times, and I even had to ask the waitress for another napkin because my cloth napkin was full of hard pieces of lasagna noodles. I guess I could i’ve said something, but I was with my daughter and didn’t really want to complain. I just take this as lesson learned. First time here and last time. Oh, and the hostess seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. But whatever. My daughter got the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and she told me it was better at Apple Bee’s. I do disagree with her because this was definitely better than Apple Bee’s even with the hard lasagna noodles. Also I booked my reservation through OpenTable. I did put two notes in there that I was celebrating a birthday and wanted to keep it as a surprise but nobody addressed the birthday or said anything about it.
