Looking for a date night? Go elsewhere. We went to Local on a date night for my wife's birthday. Despite including this on the reservation, no acknowledgement. We set a reservation for 8:15, then were called and asked to show at 8, so we did. We were sat at a tiny table, next to a boisterous group. It then took 10 minutes for a server to even greet us and bring water. The restaurant closes for 2 weeks in the summer, and this was the night before, so we were confronted with the "we are short staffed, don't have all our items, etc.". Not what I was expecting for a semi-pricey meal. No acknowledgement of the occasion and no accommodation for the poor service and lack of full menu. So, if this is a reflection of normal, spend your time and dollars elsewhere.

We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed everything. The big, special treat was the interesting & fun cheeseboard. The french fries with curry tomato ketchup was a nice comfort, food -salty treat. Grilled romaine, arugula salads were excellent as well. Extra creamy, mac & cheese (heavy on the blue cheese), beautiful caramelized scallops, Panko, breadcrumb, haddock, & balsamic glazed steak all prepared well -overall delicious, lovely comfort, food. The English garden cocktail, which was herby and citrusy was the favorite cocktail for the night. We will definitely go back.

Too loud at Greek wine tasting! Couldn't hear one another. Will not go to another unless the extreme noise is addressed & abated.

nice venue, good was good, small plates as you would expect but the rock and roll music being played did not go with a wine tasting setting. we did not want to linger which we thought was too bad, and counter to the theme of the restaurant. Our waiter was courteous, and professional but we could tell they didn’t have quite enough staff serving

The food was eclectic and interesting. Not every dish was a hit, but it was a welcome change from typical restaurant fare. As many others have said, the service was uneven. The wine selection was good.

This was our second time here in 2 weeks - we loved the small to medium shareables Wonderful cocktails and great seasonal wines. Enjoy the atmosphere as well. It’s intimate and not too loud

Great service and overall experience. The food was amazing and the wine was out of this world. Will definitely be making this a weekly occurrence.

Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was good as has been our experience in the past. The bomba (desert) was great.

First time trying this place and I probably will go back. The food is very good and the wine and drinks menu is varied. The service needs help. From the hostess who seemed lost as to where to put us to the server who walked past our table multiple times without checking on us, it was very frustrating. Our drink order (wine and a cocktail) took 20 minutes and the server didn’t bother to come back and take our food order in that time. The food came out quickly after we ordered, but at the end of the meal, the waiter dropped the check without asking if we wanted dessert. Everyone was friendly enough but ineffective.
