Massive wooden door, old bricks and rustic beams of Harrisonburg’s old City Produce Exchange building, the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience at The LOCAL Chop & Grill House. Our menu features fresh, hand-selected, LOCAL and seasonal foods prepared with a progressive flair.
Farm to Table is the mainstay of our eating philosophy. That’s why we work with community food producers to support organic, sustainable, LOCAL farms, and put the finest, freshest foods on the table for you.     Steak was excellent, best steak I have had in a long time. Rachel was a great server, very attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back next time in the area!

    Second time going for a special occasion. The food is so good. The people are always so nice. Great place to eat in Harrisonburg if you’re swinging through!

    Always enjoy our trips to Local Chop House. Food was delicious and Chris, our server, did an outstanding job. Professional but engaging and very helpful with choices.

    We had a great dinner. Everything was top drawer. Our server was super attentive and the meal was fabulous. Can’t recommend enough.

    Diversified menu, smallish with good choices. Portions are adequate and beautifully presented. Good wine/drink selection as well as very nice dessert choices. Rib eye was perfect as was the fish selection and the Tuna Ceviche. Creme Brulee was divine.

    Our waitress was very rude and sarcastic. Very disappointing considering everything else in our experience. I would 100% return because the restaurant was absolutely lovely.
