The soup was too sweet. The chicken was just fair. Not much taste.

Lovely candlelight like atmosphere and interesting menu. Two pasta dishes were fabulous, the rigatoni and the bolognese. Focaccia fresh and light, though the oil tasted off. Rosemary cosmo was okay, not fab. Pizzas and burgers looked like good values. Everything else seemed too pricey for a local bistro.

We dont get to brunch often but when We do Local Bistro is in our top 2 spots. We had the truffle mushroom omelette with a spicy bloody mary and the veggie omelette. Both were delicious and we had great service, as usual. Thanks for a good start to our Sunday funday! We’ll see you for dinner soon!

Everything at Local Bistro was good...until the bill came. There was a surcharge on the bill. We asked the server about it and she explained that it was due to a local prop that requires restaurants to provide certain benefits to workers. To his credit, the manager removed the surcharge. But I am tired of places that have hidden charges. Restaurants seem to be the most egregious abusers. There are charges for mixers, shared items, credit card fees and other expenses. Many of these charges are opaque and unexplained. Maybe it's time to legislate transparent all in pricing. I have a growing list of places I will not go due to added charges.

Great ambience and enjoyed dining in the bar area with my group. Food was very good and menu is diverse. Served was a friendly guy and did a solid job attending to our table.

Local used to be my go-to for brunch. Have to say I hadn't been in a few years and for sure has gone downhill. Pancakes were delish - but tiny. Potatoes good, but undercooked so cooking would have made them great. Toast was so thinly sliced. Never got a refill on my hot coffee or our waters the whole time we were there. Too many other amazing brunch locations to go back - but I'll for sure try going again for dinner.

The manager Stu is great and very welcoming and knowledgeable. Server Georgia was great as well. Great variety of options and top quality products.

Local bistro is right down the street from my house and it’s our favorite date night spot in North Scottsdale! The food is delicious and the service is always great.
