Our restaurant is located in the heart of Santa Ynez. We boast amazing outdoor seating with great views and because it is often a little chilly in the evening, we have heaters. We are also dog and cat friendly.

We know re-adjusting to dining out is a strange experience for everyone and we are all slowly returning. For now, we will be suspending lunch service.

Restaurant agréable, bon choix de plats et très belle carte de vins, y compris au verre. La patronne très sympathique est aux fourneaux et passe en salle pour parler avec les clients. Le service est très attentionné, et suffisamment de temps est laissé entre chaque plat afin que le client ne se sente pas pressé par le temps. Produits très frais, association de goûts parfois inhabituelle pour des palais européens (la salade - pommes- blue cheese avait une sauce sucrée, les crabs cakes étaient extrêmement piquants). Prix corrects au vu de la qualité.

Très bon accueil et repas excellent. Le seul reproche que je ferai est que on ne nous laisse pas suffisamment de temps pour regarder le menu ou de savourer, c’est assez rapide comme dans tous les restaurants américains. C’est expéditif ! On a l’habitude en France de prendre le temps quand nous dînons ou déjeunons.

Four Strangers Walk Into A Bar...

30 years ago, four people working in the hospitality industry met in a bar on Toulouse Street in The French Quarter of New Orleans. Over time they became friends and when the first one moved away he stated, "our paths will cross again." Sure enough, over the next three decades, we worked together and apart in cities across the United States, including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Telluride, Washington DC and of course The Big Easy. In early 2021 an opportunity presented itself and Toulouse was born.

Using local, sustainable ingredients, we produce food with a hint of New Orleans style, in the type of place where tourists feel at home, locals are at home, and everyone is surrounded by family and friends.

Welcome to L2 Texas BBQ.

There are many varieties of BBQ. A few of the best known are: Carolinas, Kansas City, Memphis and of course Texas.
Texas BBQ differs by region
East Texas- the meat is slowly cooked typically over hickory wood and is marinated in a sweet tomato-based sauce
Central Texas- the meat is rubbed with salt and black pepper and sometimes other spices and then cooked over indirect heat using pecan, oak or mesquite wood. Sauce is usually not necessary but it can be served on the side to complement the meat.
South Texas- The meat is marinated in thick molasses-like sauces
West Texas- the meat is cooked over direct heat from mesquite wood

L2 Texas BBQ is a mash-up of all the Texas styles to create our own unique favor. We offer at least 11 different meats, 14 sides and several appetizers

For those a little less hungry we also have sandwiches, burgers and salads.

We also have a full bar, video poker machines, catering and a private party room
