Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. Vendome is in a historical building in the Sunnyside neighborhood. It is within walking distance of the Bow River and Peace Bridge. Here, diners can eat indoors or outside on its very large deck. This modern cafe serves French, Spanish and Italian inspired meals such as avocado toast, rolled French omelette, cucumber gazpacho, steamed mussels, and spaghetti carbonara. Diners can enjoy eating at Vendome for any meal. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a special brunch served on the weekends. Vendome has been serving the community since the 1930s.
