Always have a great night and dinner at L’inizio’s, but Francisco made it special. Made sure we were tended to and checked on us frequently. Great food, great drinks, great service. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Best in Westchester and it’s not even close.

I’m not sure where the 5 star reviews come from, other than from the owners themselves loading the deck. The service is slow and inattentive. To be fair, our waiter was very friendly, but on his own and overwhelmed. If you needed anything, you were forced to make some rather obvious hand waving gestures. After returning my spicy basil margarita for being a simply overly tart margarita that had neither spice or basil was the first sign of the experience to come. The food is the most disappointing. An appetizer with “house made” mozzarella, that shows up with 4 small balls of cheese that were obviously taken out of the Costco tub and put on a toothpick for $18 was insulting. Then the uncooked Taylor ham in the carbonara only made the experience worse. It’s funny that our waiter did look insulted when we decided not to take anything home. Horrible and insulting. You want good Italian, go to Mima or Gianna’s or pretty much anywhere else.

The food is always tasty at L'inizio. The menu is very creative and the service very attentive. I had chicken scarp which was excellent and a ample portion. My wife raves about the branzino . My only "beef" (no pun intended) is the price of the wine list. It's way out of line with only one chardonnay on the list priced at $53 for example. It only goes up from there. Too bad, I would eat at L'inizio more often if the alcohol pricing was more reasonable.

Food was delicious. I would request a table not near the kitchen door next time. Sitting in that section detracted from the experience.

The food was delicious! We started with the burrata and I had a pasta special with mushrooms, spinach and shrimp. I enjoyed my cocktail And dessert (warm brownie and ice cream) as well. They seated us close to the kitchen, so it was a bit busy, but overall we had a good evening and will go back.
