Birthday boy recognition would have been nice but marvelous, attentive experience. As always, food creative and delicious. Quite pricey except special occasions.

From the greeting from your host, to hearing warm thank yous from servers, bartender and hosts on the way out, our 22nd wedding anniversary celebration was close to perfect. Our margaritas were spot on. Food recommendations from our server proved to be spot on as well. Our ceviche, and entrees, were all delicious and presented well. Serving size was appropriate. We love Limones and it did not disappoint last night, a very special evening for us. Thank you!

Very disappointed after reading many reviews and a recommendation from a trusted friend. We were seated in the back corner near the restrooms despite arriving early and several tables being available elsewhere. The cocktail was supposed to be a special, but it was a mediocre spicy margarita. I can handle a lot of heat, but this was all spice with no subtlety. I would have loved this aggressive flavor in my meal. To start, we had the ceviche sampler, empanadas, and the chili relleno. The empanadas were excellent. The ceviche was OK. It was hard to tell with the lighting, but I'm fairly certain the seafood and avocado had been in the acid too long and werr starting to brown. The chili relleno was passable, but poorly seasoned and served with a pile of slaw that was bland and drenched with a dollop of crema. For entrees, we had the shrimp and pork tenderloin. The shrimp was oddly served around almond rice and cold cauliflower. All were under-seasoned and flavorless. I was tempted to ask for salt and hot sauce to get something out of the experience, but it was clear that this is the kind of place where that would have turned into a debate with staff. The pork tenderloin was cooked properly, but still tough and bland on a bed of what could have been a good succotash, given salt and any kind of flavor profile. I finished it off for my partner because I needed the protein. Our server was efficient but curt. I think they were aware we were disappointed by this experience and we mutually decided to speed through it without a fuss. No attempt to discuss dessert and the check was delivered quickly. Bad nights happen, but I suspect this is a deeper issue of declining quality and attention to detail. Really hoping our future meals in Asheville can make up for this.

We waited a while for a server (I think there was some confusion as to whose table we were at). But, once our server Clint came over, he did a wonderful job and the food was delicious!

I was expecting a more Mexican food menu - the drinks menu is much more so than the food. Empanadas starter was lackluster. Pork was overcooked/dry. Seafood special (they ran out of after we ordered and they subbed tuna) preparation was the best thing we ate. After Chai Pani, the bar was set very high… this didn’t compare.

Some of the menu items were wonderful. Some of them were only just okay. I wasn’t impressed with the ambience at the restaurant.

Overcooked carne asada, no apologies and took a long time to get it back and cooked the right way. No discount to check. Not impressed :(
