Absolutely fantastic from our wonderful waitress to the drinks and food. We sat on the patio, it was great with an 89 year old. Libertad never ceases to be anything but scrumptious.

For the first time in years we were disappointed in the food and service, also restroom needed attention.

We returned to Libertad after an absence of probably five years. Sat on the patiio to avoid the noise and darkness inside. The patio is tricked-out beautifully. The servers were cordial. The food was as good as ever - which is to say, very good. We were surprised and disappointed that the platos fuertes have gone up so much in price. But it’s still possible to have a reasonably priced meal if you stick to the less expensive dishes. We thought the flautas and the cauliflower/quinoa dish were delicious. Ditto the Caesar salad. The yucca fries outshine anyone else’s potato fries. Altogether, a satisfying way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our first date.

The meal began with an amuse bouche which changes day to day, and always delights the palette. My favorite cocktail is the Spice & Ice: plantation dark rum, passion fruit, lime, ginger-habanero syrup, and a seven spice rim that drives me wild; cinnamon bark and candied ginger garnish elevates the drinking experience to magnificence. The chipotle marinated wild salmon with black rice and charred scallion salsa is unbelievably succulent, and green beans in soy chile vinaigrette with sesame seeds left my tastebuds dancing. Paired with the Néboa, Albariño 2021, I saved half to go and ordered Tres Leches cake with mezcal-marinated cherries for dessert. I also saved half to go because I couldn't resist an aperitif of Licor 43, a Spanish liqueur with fruits, aromatic herbs, spices & vanilla. Kiss the chef for me, please!

The food was and has been very good and well presented on the dish. Cocktails are unique and flavorful. Staff was attentive without being over the top.

We were a party of 3. We each had a drink and ordered the Burrata and Shishedos as apps. They were delicious. I had the cauliflower as a dinner. I would have liked the cauliflower more tender but the taste was fabulous. One friend had the Salmon and the other had a beef dish. Both were excellent. We were too full for dessert. The check was about $60 each before tip.

The pork dish didn’t have any flavor and after we got our first two dishes, it took almost 45 mins to get our last dish.

Outstanding on every level… food was exceptionally good. Wonderfully crafted array of seasoning and flavors. Food cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Fast service! Our second visit there— many more to come :)
