In operation since 1978, Les Nomades remains true to its distinctive character as an oasis of civilized tranquility amidst the bustling activity of its Streeterville location. Culinary creations delight the most discriminating palates. Savor Sautéed Foie Gras, or Lobster Ravioli with seared scallops; Roasted Breast and Confit Leg of Duck, or Duo of Roasted Partridge and Bison. Artisan cheeses are extraordinary and the pastries are sublime.

Our favorite Chicago restaurant which was as great as ever. The food is exceptional and competes with the great staff. They provided little cakes with candles for our anniversary and birthday celebration. Incredible place!!

We celebrated our 41st anniversary at Les Nomades. We have not been there for a few years and all our previous memories came back to us like yesterday. Adam was outstanding throughout the entire experience, truly charming and made us both feel special. The food was magnificent and wine selection some of the best in the city. Truly an exceptional meal and evening. Thank you Les Nomades!

You don't need a special occasion (although it was my wife's birthday) to have dinner at Les Nomades, because every dinner is a special occasion at this restaurant. Everything from the ambience, professional but friendly staff and delicious quality food are first rate and always have been for the many years that we have enjoyed dining here!

Another wonderful meal at Les Nomades. The cooking maybe better than ever (and we've been eating here for decades) and as usual, the service and ambience are unmatched in Chicago. Expensive, but well worth it!

Les Nomades is the best restaurant in Chicago if you want to have incredible traditional French cuisine, wonderful service, and a moderately quiet room where everybody at your table can hear well. While expensive, it is good value because it is a wonderful experience for a special occasion. The braised Wagyu beef short rib was incredible. The food and sauces range from delicate to bold but always satisfying. The four or five course meal plus an amuse bouche and palate cleansing sorbet makes for a wonderful variety of food without going overboard on the number of courses.

Everything was lovely—especially the service. Highlights were all the fish dishes and the creme brulee. Lowlights were my first Manhattan—which had far too much sweet vermouth—and the Manhattan I received after sending the first one back; it had less vermouth than the first, but still too much, especially after requesting a "dry Manhattan."

We visited to celebrate our anniversary and once again everything was perfect. We so love this place. Not to be missed if you love French food. Men must wear jackets so it keeps the casual diner away and it is perfect for those more serious about food.
