In operation since 1978, Les Nomades remains true to its distinctive character as an oasis of civilized tranquility amidst the bustling activity of its Streeterville location. Culinary creations delight the most discriminating palates. Savor Sautéed Foie Gras, or Lobster Ravioli with seared scallops; Roasted Breast and Confit Leg of Duck, or Duo of Roasted Partridge and Bison. Artisan cheeses are extraordinary and the pastries are sublime.

This is such a rare place. Top-notch food, elegant surroundings, and expertly-trained service. These kind of places rarely exist these days. Run, don’t walk, to dine at Les Nomades!

Les Nomades is truly one of the very civilized restaurants remaining in our city. When you dine here you can expect mpeccable service, beautiful surroundings, the increasingly rare sound of refined quietude and, of course, wonderful food. Can’t say enough good things about this Chicago treasure!

Les Nomades is one of the best dining experiences in Chicago. This elegant and unique restaurant offered an impeccably curated dining experience; a true treat for the senses. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming with warm fabrics and elegant lighting and art. Each course offered an appetizing variety of seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes. Each bite offered a perfect blend of flavors that delighted and surprised. The wine list was also very special. With expert guidance from Michael, we were introduced to elegant wines that enhanced our cuisine. The list had lots of options for all budgets with several very good sub-$100 bottles in addition to approachable more expensive ones. The service was non-fussy despite being complete and generous. It was apparent that everyone dining at the restaurant was celebrating something special (birthday, anniversary, retirement, engagement). For diners it becomes apparent why one would celebrate there; Les Nomad provides an inimitable experience. For that, we can only give thanks to the dedication and love of the proprietor, Mary Beth Liccioni. Our only regret is that it took us 2 years of living in Chicago before discovering this gem.

An experience all should enjoy. Service was impeccable (thanks, Nicholas), food was exquisite from the foie gras to the lobster and mango salad. I had the Dover Sole and my husband had the Scottish Salmon. We both enjoyed the perfect prime rib eye before indulging in creme brulee and a raspberry souffle. 5 stars all around. Thank you Mary Beth and Roland for a memorable evening.

This place is trying to be a Michelin star restaurant, but they’re not. Their meals are overpriced, and the owner demands an unreasonably high 20% tip, no matter what, which is greedy.

Old school in a good way. It's great to have an old school French spot with great service and tasty food. Get the mushroom soup.
