Située dans le charmant centre-ville de Menlo Park, la Left Bank transporte ses clients dans une brasserie pittoresque de Paris. Ouverte depuis 1998 et complètement remodelée en 2008, la Left Bank offre une ambiance décontractée, charmante de brasserie où les convives se régalent de cuisine française classique du sud. Our Salles De Amis is a beautiful private mezzanine. You can choose to overlook the main dining room from the balcony, or enclose the room completely with our lush velvet curtains. The sunny yellow walls, warm mahogany accents and vividly colored French posters make this the perfect setting for your occasion. Set up however you wish, the room is large enough for a party of 60, yet intimate enough for a smaller group of 10 or 20. Have a much larger group? We are happy to close the entire restaurant. We will be open for regular hours on February 14th, serving our regular menus from open until 4pm. From 4 pm to close, we will be serving a Valentine's Day-inspired 3 Course Prix Fixe dinner for $79 per person. Wine pairings, expertly hand-selected by our Wine Director and Sommelier, will also be available with each course, as well as the option to add Tsar Nikolai Caviar to any course for $30. I took my wife to Left Bank and we had mussels and salmon. The salmon and lentils were excellent. We also had a glass of sparkling wine which was very good. My son wanted steak frites so we ordered that to go which he loves. Overall very good experience. We used the inKind app to pay for it for extra savings.

I've been going to Left Bank sporadically over the past 20 years, and it has had its upswings and downswings. On this recent visit, it appears to be on an upswing: Everything we ordered was delicious, including the Petrale Sole, Boeuf Bourgignon and Citron tart. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and our service was attentive but not smothering. Prices were fair. I won't wait so long to go back next time.

We got the beet salad, calamari, and the kids grilled ham and cheese. The flavor was decent and so was the price. The service was below par.

I've been to left bank quite a few times mostly for business lunches. This time I went there with my teen age son and we were seated behind the staircase and I had nice views of brooms and a stack of baby seats. While I noticed there were plenty of tables for two in the main dining area. Don't understand the logic of how they seat people but that wasn't cool. Food was good and service was decent.
