Our executive chef (Jaco Smith) is back hosting a recurring dinner series celebrating the cuisine and rich culture of his native South Africa. Tickets are a $110 all-inclusive price (per person), which includes a six course meal (served family style with your own party), red and white South African wines (or zero proof options) and gratuity. There are options for regular seating or bar seating, and we are happy to accommodate seating requests or communal table seating requests. We look forward to sharing the flavors and diversity of South Africa with you! Note: A full vegetarian menu will also be available, please let us know how many vegetarians will be in your party. Other allergies and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.

The empanadas were the best I’ve had and the shrimp ceviche was a culinary delight. Outstanding.

This was a lovely experience. Reservation are for two hours, and you will be asked to leave to make room for other diners.

We greatly enjoyed our evening at LeChon! We really appreciated our waiter or the chef explaining everything in each dish, and accommodating our food allergy! The food was EXCELLENT, the wait staff was FANTASTIC and the ambiance was a perfect blend of classy while relaxed. We highly recommend dinner here and will 100% be dining here again in the future!

I brought my family from out of town here to celebrate two birthdays. Our waiter Tyler was amazing! thank you so much to Lechon for the amazing food and great ambiance. It was a night to remember.

I have been here twice, and have never had a dish I did not like. The first trip was tapas with friends and the second night was the chef’s choice with my husband. Highly recommend! .

Sooooo good! My third time to experience this great restaurant. A group of four makes for a wonderful dining experience due to sharing several different items. We tried seven different items and everyone was delicious. Service is top notch!

We ordered the Baos + Bone Marrow + Flank Steak + Chicken + Lomo Saltado Of the food we ordered, we enjoyed the Lomo saltado the best.

Lovely as usual; our server was very attentive. Cocktails were great and the food was excellent as usual. Looked overbooked but they managed to seat us with very little wait. Great value for the meal as well!

Very good restaurant in Portland for Southern American cuisine, food price is reasonable and everything tasted delicious, will definitely come again. P.S I really enjoy their Asado,
