Our executive chef (Jaco Smith) is back hosting a recurring dinner series celebrating the cuisine and rich culture of his native South Africa. Tickets are a $110 all-inclusive price (per person), which includes a six course meal (served family style with your own party), red and white South African wines (or zero proof options) and gratuity. There are options for regular seating or bar seating, and we are happy to accommodate seating requests or communal table seating requests. We look forward to sharing the flavors and diversity of South Africa with you! Note: A full vegetarian menu will also be available, please let us know how many vegetarians will be in your party. Other allergies and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.

This may very well be the BEST meal I have ever had! (And I have had many deliciousss meals.) The staff was phenomenal - their care and knowledge was commendable. The flavors were out of this world - not a miss! The vibe and music were on point. I would hands down recommend to anyone and I will undoubtedly be back.

Fantastic food and experience! The Iberico, steak, empanadas, veggie ceviche and cocktails were next level delicious. Service is the best in Portland consistently and the atmosphere is big city restaurant without the attitude.

Made a reservation for their last slot before closing— staff was super nice and didn’t make us feel rushed. Food was AMAZING my favorite were the pork belly baoncitos and ahí tuna ceviche. Ambience was chill and the restaurant had a cool aquarium and jellyfish!

Impressed and I had higher than average expectations walking in! The service was outstanding, and each dish we tried was so flavorful, literally each one we tried was amazing on its own. The jicama salad, shrimp ceviche, grilled octopus, steak with duck sausage and Peruvian fried chicken, and tiramisu…they all stood out. On top of that, they accommodated that one of us was not drinking alcohol at the moment with a fantastic concoction for a toast, and had a lovely NA cocktail menu as well.

Excellent food and the service was actually stellar which is rare for Portland. There are more noisy and more quiet areas of the restaurant. Luckily, we were in a booth without other tables in front of us so it was the perfect noise level to chat with old friends while still feeling festive.

We focused on the vegetarian options, but everything was excellent: chili tofu, avocado and kohlrabi ceviche (beautiful!), some of the best patatas bravas I've ever had! and excellent octopus. Plantain and bean empanadas were much lighter than expected. Frankly my favorite was the custom old fashioned: rye, cardamom sugar and orange bitters. All around a success!

Coming back after two years, celebrated my sister’s birthday here. Food quality is undoubtedly good and everything tastes perfect. Good food with good vibe and good service, can’t deny it is one of the best restaurants in Portland.

Incredible as always! The food is beautiful and delicious, the drinks are an experience you'll remember, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

This is a truly spectacular restaurant. Joyful atmosphere, unbelievable food and very engaging staff. The presentation and flavors of the dishes off the charts.

Honestly, this was one of the best dinners that I've had in a long time. Everything was incredible - amazing flavor, amazingly cooked. We tried so many dishes but my favorites were the shrimp ceviche, the mushroom starter, the bean empanadas and the asado main dish. The service was also incredible. I'm so happy we were able to eat here during our trip to Portland!
