Le Zoo is an energetic celebration of timeless French-Mediterranean flavors. Capturing the coveted common ground between European elegance and effortless South Florida sophistication, the 200-seat restaurant is a special place where gilded Old World decor plays alongside tropical planters and vintage French design touches. The food, drawing deeply from the refined cooking of Provence, is a transporting experience, ranging from the freshest fruits de mer and chic pizzas to pristine carpaccios, tartares and other signatures of Gallic coastal cuisine.     Le Zoo is a nice restaurant and we invited friends. We ordered appetizers and main courses; though did not finish the appetizers, Johnny, our server already started to clear the bread and small b&b plates while we were eating. Then he brought out the main courses, even though we were still enjoying the appetizers. We asked Johnny of what is your rush? His answer was blaming the kitchen. We came to enjoy a nice brunch/lunch, we felt rushed, it seemed that the server wanted to turn the table getting us in and out, as to him we looked like tourists, however we are locals.

    Consistently good food especially truffle pizza and tuna tartar. Like their lychee martini as well

    El mozo se equivoco el pedido. El agua vino caliente. Pedilos hielo y lo trajo en UNA CUCHARA. La sopa de cebolla cayo bastante la calidad. El menu muy repetitivo. No lo cambian nunca. Hasta hoy he siso un comensal de siempre. Pero no voy mas. Ultima noche el Le Zoo.

    The place is really nice, loved the bar. Food was good, but the air conditioner was not working well. We asked if the air could be adjusted and they did, but it was still too hot and uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Everyone was very pleasant and accomodating, but the heat was unacceptable.

    I’ve had better steak tartare for sure. Order something else. Chicken paillard very good. Lots of items have nuts so beware.

    I had not come to le zoo in some time and now I remember why. The service was rushed and rough. The man a the reservation counter is rude, has no manners what so ever. The waitress we had should undergo school again. Even to serve water that was splashing on the table. She asked us if we needed anything else and as I was answering she had already gone to another table. The food quality has gone down but overall the service was dreadful.
