This April, we set our sights on the enchanting Loire Valley! Imagine rolling hills dotted with vineyards and majestic chateaux bathed in warm sunlight. Le Pont de la Tour celebrates the region’s freshest flavours with a new menu this April. Our journey begins with the Globe Artichoke salad, showcasing the prized artichokes of the Loire, their delicate hearts paired with the creamy tang of St. Maure goat cheese. We then dive into the region’s bountiful rivers with our Monkfish Beurre Blanc. Here, the Loire’s famed white fish is bathed in a velvety sauce, enriched with mussels, cockles, and a hint of sea salt, all paired with the wine from the same region. Discover the diverse flavours that make French cuisine beloved the world over!

We had a beautiful family lunch on the terrace in the sunshine. We enjoyed the set lunch and although the main courses were underwhelming it really didn't matter as the wonderful setting and marvellous service made the day. We were not rushed and moved to the bar area after lunch for another drink. Such a beautiful venue- we will be back!

Amazing food in one of the best locations in London. Service was overwhelmed by the number of diners. Sometimes a bit slow, sometimes forgetful. Usually much more on the ball

It was lovely to be able to sit outside on a warm afternoon and we had a relaxing four hours over lunch. Food was delicious. My only criticism was that I did not think our server had good enough English. I was served the wrong dish as a main course and she tried to convince me that Lobster mayonnaise ( which was what I ordered) should be served hot with a bright red sauce. Eventually, she was persuaded to take it back to the kitchen and I was served what I ordered but only after all my guests had finished their main course. It was worth the wait!

Dear David, It is indeed disappointing to learn we haven't met all your rightful expectations - please let me offer you my sincere apologies on behalf of the entire team for failing to provide you and your guests with an enjoyable time on this particular occasion. Clearly this is not the experience we would wish for our guests, and I hope you will see from our other reviews that this is not the norm at Le Pont de la Tour. Lastly, your feedback is valued and we will certainly be reviewing your comments with our teams accordingly. I do hope that you can give us another opportunity to welcome you back, at which time we will spare no efforts in providing a much more positive experience.

Had a terrible experience at the restaurant, service was lacking, we didn’t receive our drinks until half way through our second course. There are far better restaurants in London.

This is a very smart restaurant with excellent service and lovely food & wine, with an attractive view of the river Thames and Tower Bridge.

Disappointed meal in a favourite restaurant couldn’t believe some dishes not available as run out at 745 on a Saturday night!

A lovely restaurant with limited menu, but still overall very good. It would’ve been nice to see some specials of the day sort of thing. Also, when you’re paying that sort of money, I’ll expect a Amuse Bouche but I do understand that we’re paying for the view of London Bridge.

We decided to order a deluxe seafood platter along with some drinks. However, I was deeply disappointed with both the service and the quality of the seafood. To begin with, when the seafood platter was brought to our table, the waiter accidentally dropped a prawn on my bag. Despite this mishap, the waiter did not offer to replace the prawn or take any corrective action. This lack of attentiveness was disheartening. Furthermore, as I started eating, I noticed that one of the mussels had an extremely unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a dead fish. Concerned about the quality of the seafood, I brought this issue to the attention of the manager. Astonishingly, the manager insisted that the mussel was fresh, dismissing my concern entirely. This response struck me as ridiculous, especially considering the amount of money I had paid for the meal, which amounted to $200. Having traveled extensively and dined in various establishments worldwide, I have never encountered such poor service and low-quality food. It is regrettable that I am left with the impression that the discrimination against my Chinese background influenced the treatment I received. But i would like to stated that i came from Hong Kong.

Service was great. We were there at 5.30 so the restaurant was quiet but noise levels were picking by the time we left. We had fixed menu which was very good value. Would go again.
