Situé au cœur du quartier des théâtres de Londres, le restaurant Garrick est un restaurant français intime, très prisé des amateurs de théâtre, des hommes d'affaires et des amoureux de la cuisine française. Au rez-de-chaussée, se trouve un restaurant accueillant et au sous-sol, un sympathique bar et une salle à manger dotée d'alcôves intimes, idéales pour des dîners romantiques. Son menu propose des plats classiques et des spécialités de la cuisine française de bistrot, comme l'entrecôte grillée à la sauce au poivre et ses frites mais aussi des desserts typiques comme la tarte au citron avec crème fraîche. Le menu à prix fixe composé de deux plats fera votre bonheur avant votre représentation théâtrale. La carte des vins presque entièrement française propose des vins en carafe ainsi qu'à la bouteille et au verre. We love the pre- & post-theatre menu and were celebrating my daughter's graduation. Great to walk through Covent Garden to this old restaurant, and to enjoy mussels & chips (or steak is another option) and the best lemon tart I have tasted! The service was excellent and good value for money. Wine good too. Great for a special occasion - simple, but delicious!

Have eaten here a few times, usually around Theatre trips. Always excellent food and good service. Not cheap but worth it.

Le Garrick is a great place to go and in a wonderful location. We went around 5.00 pm, just after a matinee at one of the nearby theatres. The service was excellent, friendly and extremely quick - so much so that it was clear that at least some of the food was not cooked to order. While this was understandable, given the number of people in the restaurant, quality suffered. The mussels were substantially overdone and disappointing; the small chicken was also overdone. Otherwise, it was pretty ordinary and,quite expensive. I'm not sure if we'd go back. Maybe we'll try lunchtime and hope that it's not as busy.

This is a great value reliably good gem in central London. £17.75 for two courses is outstandingly good and a great pre-thetare option. In the evening I would go a la carte as more time. My friends both had the onglet steak which was perfectly cooked. My mussels were tasty but quite a few didn't open so didn't risk them all. The broth was very good. Service was excellent and our waitress efficient with a lovely manner. Will be back!

I’m a member of the Garrick Club which was full for lunch so I decided to have lunch ( for the first time) at our namesake! Excellent food and very good service. Thank you!

It's been a while since my last visit to the Garrick Bistro (I no longer live in London) but I'm delighted that my recent lunch visit showed that the great quality and service I remember have been maintained. The food is first rate and the service excellent. Great value for money too. I recommend if you're in the West End.

Went to Le Garrick ahead of seeing Phantom of the Opera. Booked a 17:00 reservation but honestly could have booked a 17:30 and easily made it to the show. Nevertheless our experience here was nothing short of fantastic. The restaurant is situated on the corner of Garrick street and we sat up top with views of the street which we were happy to have so we could people watch. The downstairs area of the restaurant is also quite nice and would be a great spot to sit as well. We ordered the Duck Confit and Beef Bourgogne. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. These meals were incredible. Also ordered the crème brûlée which was perfectly caramelized on the top and was perfectly sweet and creamy below. Our service was attentive and efficient and I would highly recommend this restaurant no matter the occasion.

Our go to restaurant before attending theatre in the west end. All three of our visits in the past 5 years have been excellent.
