Modern design, cozy ambiance, relaxed atmosphere: that's what the restaurant Le Faubourg is known and famous for - along with its location being next to the legendary Ku'damm. Their French cuisine combines haute cuisine standards with ideas of sustainability. Due to the moderate prices, menus are accessible to everyone. This is the reason because of their young and ambitious chef Lukas Hackenberg, who wants guests to feel at home when dining at Le Faubourg. He gained experience in fine dining at several first-class restaurants, such as the former 2-star restaurant Reinstoff, at Pots Berlin, and at the awarded restaurant Faelt. The menu at Le Faubourg changes seasonally and focuses on different dishes, featuring vegan and vegetarian creations as well as meat and fish dishes. In addition to the high-quality dinner menu, the restaurant offers a varying lunch menu on weekdays.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service, kompetent, freundlich engagiert. Die Speisen waren toll und ideenreich angerichtet. Die Qualität war hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider enttäuschte das Essen. Es war gut, aber einfach langweilig, nicht raffiniert, so, wie man das in dieser Preiskategorie erwarten würde.

Immer wieder sehr, sehr gut! Sehr aufmerksamer Service, sehr schmackhaftes, feines Essen, was immer wieder überrascht. Und das Brot ist unglaublich!

Schöner abend es gibt nichts zuverbessern . Man sollte nur nicht mit grossem hunger das restaurant besuchen

Das Le Faubourg ist immer einen Besuch wert hat aber noch Potential nach oben. Das angebotene Business Lunch war qualitativ hochwertig und gut präsentiert. Wir wählten vorweg eine Maronensuppe, die mit einer Geschmacks-Überraschung in Form eines Klecks Orangen-"Marmelade" aufwartete. Der Feldsalat mit den Beeten war solide. Allerdings waren die Croutons (aus Ziegenkäse?) ein nettes Ad-on. Im Hauptgang gab es Wels mit Beurre Blanc. Sehr gute Qualität des Wels (der hier ohne den ihm manchmal zum Nachteil reichenden Moder-Geschmack daher kam). Auf den Punkt gebraten. Perfekt! Der asiatische Schweinebau war doch sehr durchwachsen aber geschmacklich hervorragend. Das Süsskartoffelpüree balancierte die Soya Marinade gut aus. Als Nachtisch gab es soliden Rum-Baba und einen Erdnuss-Pralinee als Snickers. Witzig. Wir hatten offenen Rose-Cremant dazu. Das Angebot an Flaschen-Weinen erschien mir nicht spektakulär und dazu doch arg teuer. Nun ja, wenn es die Spesen hergeben....Das Restaurant ist groß genug um jedem Platz genügend Abstand zum Nachbarn zu gewähren. Die Einrichtung ist im modernen Stil gehalten - gepflegt aber nicht mehr ganz neu. Der Lärmpegel ist angenehm niedrig - auch bei annährend voller Besetzung, sodass man sich unangestrengt unterhalten kann. Verbesserungswürdig: Der Service. Weder wurden wir an den Tisch geleitet (Die Dame war schneller weg als wir bis 3 zählen konnten) noch wurden uns Mäntel abgenommen oder gar der Weg zur Garderobe gezeigt. Hier kann man mit wenig Aufwand den Eindruck des Gastes noch verbessern. Aber immerhin es wurde zügig und korrekt serviert. Auch nicht immer in berlin selbstverständlich. Alles im allem aber eine Empfehlung wenn man einen gepflegten Lunch zu sich nehmen möchte.
