We frequent Le Charlot often, in both the Hamptons and NYC. The food is always good. But the service in the Hamptons is consistently BAD. Last night our waitress was so rude and we had to wait over one hour to get our entrees and there were hardly any people at the restaurant. Moreover, our waitress could not have been more dismissive. At the least, we should have been offered a complementary cocktail or dessert. We were 6 people and the bill was over $400.00. We will not go back for the rest of the season. Rude owner, rude staff... bad experience.

Avoid at all costs ! The service is terrible , new hires don’t understand how to serve the table ( they were confused what to do, dirty dishes were not cleaned and stayed on the table all time) and no knowledge in hospitality whatsoever ! The food was disgusting , steak was dry and not seasoned , some curry chicken pieces were raw , shrimp ceviche was like a live snail , everything was absolutely disgusting ! Doesn’t worth your money and your time !

I typically love this restaurant however the lunch we had yesterday was mediocre at best. Not worth the money. My guests both said they have had much better mussels elsewhere, and my husband and I thought the chicken paillard and chicken salad was overcooked. Not great. The waiter was as courteous and prompt, so service was good.

We booked for an early Sunday brunch and were the only diners in the restaurant which allowed us to get excellent service! As the French Open tennis was showing we were also able to watch the final of that too. Excellent Long Island ice tea, and amazing salads and moules marinières- with delicious French fries. French chef I am sure! Would definitely go back.

Delicious food, nice setting with tables on the sidewalk in front. Service was energetic and friendly but seemingly a little overwhelmed on a busy Friday night. (Mixed up our cocktail order and forgot to bring a side dish we ordered.)

Food was good, service wasn’t great. At first servers were swarming around us to get our order in. Once our food arrived, no one came by for us to order another round (had to grab someone) and my drink finally came after my dinner was finished. Then we waited at least half an hour for our check.

Waiter forgot our order ... and oh yeh we are out of that... been going here 20 years ... even the menu is rather limited More a drinks venue than dining
