Connaissant un grand succès à Bucktown depuis 1993, Le Bouchon prépare une cuisine française classique de style bistrot dans une salle à manger qui vous transportera à Paris. Il a été élu l'un des meilleurs restaurants français en Amérique par le Timeout Magazine. Le restaurant, ouvert pour le dîner et le souper, sert des plats classiques, comme la délicieuse tarte à l'oignon, des escargots à l'ail, des cuisses de grenouille, ou encore des plats principaux tels que le steak-frites, la bouillabaisse et un canard entier pour 2 personnes. Le personnel compétent sera en mesure de vous conseiller un vin français de la grande carte. Les promotions hebdomadaires comprennent les bouteilles de vin à moitié prix le lundi, ainsi que le menu fixe à 33 USD avec une entrée, un plat principal et un dessert le mardi. Tasty and very traditional dishes. For anyone looking for a "classic French bistro" that is capable of a more than a run-of-the-mill bistro this seems it. Decently prepared food, (mostly) friendly service, solid little place. I would have preferred more options for non-alcoholic beverages, and if the person behind the bar knew how to prepare a proper cortado, but now I'm nitpicking.

Finally made it here after 11 years living in Chicago and did not disappoint. Food, service and ambience were all on point and felt like great value too.

Went here for our anniversary. The epoisses gougeres and steak frites were incredible; compliments to the chefs! Big thank you to our amazing server Heather - she was so kind and attentive; made our experience a lovely one! And Dennis -thanks for the great service! Can't wait to come back!

We went on a Monday evening for the 1/2 price bottle of wine night. We got the Maranges Bachey-Legros with the help of our waiter and enjoyed it. My friend had fried oysters and the sole while I had the beet salad and steak frites. The portions are ample and the service is very good. The seating is very close in a small room and the ambient noise is loud but still conversation friendly. A little bit of France in Chicago.

One of our favorite places. If we were in the same neighborhood I would be there every week. Service is always impeccable and the French comfort food is delicious.

We have been to Le Bouchon many times and always love it. We had the duck for the first time and it exceeded all expectations! Outstanding!!! Our server whose name I should know but don’t (blonde bun, glasses, really good red lipstick) was absolutely terrific and guided us well since the duck is large and we didn’t know how much other food to get. Her great service really enhanced our evening. We can’t wait to come back. We love Le Bouchon!!!
