   Excellent service and good was amazing. Staff were attentive and friendly. We had a drink in the bar while we waited for our table and the bar area was lovely and relaxed. Our reservation was for 1330 and by 1400 the restaurant was busy and a little noisy but not offensive. Will visit again and would recommend

   Wonderful meal at Le Bouchon this evening. The service from the staff was on point, the menu was varied and has something to please everyone in our party of 4. The rump of lamb was the best lamb dish I have had for years, the cod loin was raved about by my brother in law and my wife loved her skate wing. This is a superb restaurant.

   What a fantastic experience. As soon as we entered we were put at ease with a warm, friendly welcome. Throughout our whole experience for lunch, we felt truly pampered and so well looked after. All staff were very professional and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all. As well as excellent service, the food was truly outstanding in tasted and every bit of food was thought about and plated beautifully. My friend and were very impressed with our first experience here. I don’t normally have a dessert but I was so pleased I did as the lemon tart was delicious.

   Best restaurant in Maldon. Excellent food, lovely and clean and very attentive staff. Just the perfect amount of time between courses and never feel rushed. The 3 course deal on Sunday afternoon is amazing value and the kids loved their food too! Highly recommend this place!!

   Loved the Cocktails, both the Espresso Martinis and non-alcoholic. The pre-starter, little scones with cream cheese were wonderful, never had these before wasn't sure what to expect. Lots of taste and just right portions. Starter scallops, prawns potatoe with sauce served in a shell delicious. Mains Chateaubriand and fillet steak very tender. Chateaubriand could have had more taste but was not chewy and the sides were delicious. Desserts we took home. 10 out of 10

   Food was ok, well presented but not massively tasty. Service was very slow with some requests completely forgotten.

    I booked a valentines meal a month in advance for 8pm. We arrived on time and were asked to sit in the bar while they got our table ready. After waiting for an hour we were finally seated at 9pm! The food was average consisting of small portions that seemed as if they had been plated up for a while before being served. The service staff tried their best but seemed overwhelmed by the amount of diners present. I expected better for £75 per head! It was obvious Le bouchon had crammed in as many people as possible to cash in on Valentine’s Day and the overall experience was disappointing.
