Food quality for price is dropping. Too much salt on food leaving little room for taste. Also ordered a steak well done but delivered rare. Wine palette not great. Have been a Bilboquet goer over the last 5 years. Think it is slipping.

Ate lunch there yesterday. Perfect croque monsieur and the best french fries I've ever had. Soup of the day (cold cantelope-tomato puree) was creative and perfect for a hot summer's day. Service was impeccable and responsive, but also unobtrusive. I'm looking forward to a return visit for dinner, but there are two downsides worth mentioning. First, Le Bilboquet is ridiculously expensive, in my opinion. Second, it is over-the-top precious and pretentious. Neither of those aspects of the experience will keep me from returning, but they are important to know beforehand.

We have been to Le Bilboquet for several years and always enjoy our visit. We both ordered escargots for appetizer, steamed mussels and Iberico pork chop for entree. All the dishes tasted delicious...love the French fries that came with the mussels. Yes, as per other reviews, prices have gone up quite a bit over the past couple of years (as with other restaurants) but portion size seems to remain the same. This establishment is on the "pricy" side for a bistro. But considering the location and atmosphere, it is acceptable. At first we were hesitant to return after reading some of the bad reviews: declining food quality and poor service especially towards "non-white" clients. We are Asians and have NEVER been treated differently/negatively at this establishment, so we decided to return to see it for ourselves. As in the past, service was very attentive and professional. Our waiter checked on us several times to make sure our dishes were to our liking. Towards the end of our meal, the manager came over to introduce himself and asked if we were having an enjoying time. FYI...one of their maî·tre d' is Asian (he is very nice and friendly). We noted that the clientele of this restaurant is quite mixed...different ages and nationalities...we certainly did not see/feel that they treat any particular customers differently. We will definitely return.

This was my first time at this establishment and I came to celebrate one of my coworkers birthday. We had a wonderful time. Presentation was excellent. The service by Jonathan was also excellent. Definitely will return.

We were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary at Bilboquet. The food was delicious, but our server didn’t acknowledge our anniversary which was on our reservation until we were leaving. He also did not make any suggestions for appetizers or entrees. Just was expecting more.

Le Bilboquet has been a favorite of mine since its opening. I hadn't been in a while, and last night was disappointing. It seems as though it's having an identity crisis - it can't decide whether to be an elegant French bistro (its first iteration) or a club scene restaurant with techno music focused on a loud bass. The two of us sat in a corner banquet, and the springs in the upholstery had sprung, so one seat was low and uncomfortable while the other (on the same banquette) was plush. My entree was Brochette de Gambas: $38 for 3 grilled shrimp served on a skewer over soggy spinach, 3 halved cherry tomatoes, and chunks of unripe cantaloupe. When the bill came, we were charged for a vegetable substitution whose upcharge we had not been alerted to. The server apologized and said she would take it off. The bill she came back with was the right amount, but as the two of us had split the bill, I realized that we were being each being charged more than half the bill. I quietly explained the situation to the manager, who became annoyed and said that he had taken off the incorrect charge. I explained that we appreciated that correction, but that the bill that each of us was given on our credit card charge was equal to more than 50% of the bill. He seemed annoyed that he would have to void the transaction and rerun it. Again, this has been one of my favorite restaurants since its opening. Last night it was as unrecognizable to me as a friend with a bad facelift. I hope Le Bilboquet refinds its footing. Having just been in Paris, I was looking forward to coming home to Paris in Atlanta; sadly, Le Bilboquet did not deliver.

Inside very loud and also the music to loud. The value of the price what you get of food is bad. Overpriced and small portions.

I’ve been many times in the past and give it 5 stars but this time the food was 1 star and service was not much better. Normally great service and great food. Hopefully I was there on a bad night and it will be great another time in the future.
