Been hitting up Lawry’s for like, a decade now. Always vibing with the perfect combo of bomb food and awesome service… until last night. We rolled up and got hit with the hostess’ (Monica) too cool for school attitude. Girl was giving off serious LA nightclub energy—no eye contact, zero warmth, just straight-up snobbery. Lawry’s already has the seasoning covered; no need to be salty, bestie. Luckily, our servers Clara and Mark showed up and saved the day like absolute legends. Even with a massive group of tourists in their section, they still made us feel special for our birthday celebrations. We all went for the prime rib plates (because, duh, it’s Lawry’s), and they did not disappoint—absolutely fire, as always. It’s just that good—no amount of bad vibes at the door can change that. Also just when we thought it couldn’t get better, they surprised us with complimentary birthday cakes—total chef’s kiss.

Love Lawry’s Beverly Hills. The food, ambience, service and tradition make this landmark restaurant a long standing classic! The stainless steel serving carts from the 1950’s that look like sifi spaceships are unique as the restaurant. The classic “spinning” salad prepared table-side is a treasured part of the Lawry’s tradition. We always ask for Miss Thomas, our favorite server for the past 30 years.

The food was outstanding as always. No issues there. Our only complaint is that the restaurant appeared to be understaffed and once the dining room filled up, our service suffered. We had empty drink glasses (a big pet peeve of mine) for most of the second half of the meal and our waiters were too busy tending to other tables. I don’t blame the waiters. They weren’t slacking off by any means, they were just too busy to be able to provide the level of service I expect from a restaurant like Lawrey’s.

The ambiance and customer service is spectacular! The food leaves you wanting better. I can’t complain about the customer service. It’s stellar. Noel was very accommodating. The steak was decent but nothing to write home about. Mashed potatoes, ok. Yorkshire pudding was served at the beginning of the meal which was not to my liking. It was dry. Not tasty. Overall, We enjoyed the attentive staff, but the food left a lot to be desired.

First visit to a Lawry's restaurant. I specifically chose it because I have not had prime rib in years. When we first arrived there was a little misunderstanding but the Manager, Peter, straightened it out. The valet parking parking is $12.00 and very convenient. The restaurant itself is huge and in very good shape. At 7 pm on a Friday evening, it was probably 75% full. It was a mix of young and older guests. The wait staff is very nicely dressed and all extremely polite and attentive. That doesn't just happen, it required good management which I believe Lawry's has. We had French Onion Soup and also complimentary bread which were really good. For entree's we both had the "medium size cut of prime rib." It is cut and served at the table along with a salad also prepared at your table. The salad, the prime rib, the mashed potatoes and gravy and Yorkshire pudding is a total cost of $64.00 which for the size and quality was worth it. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant itself, location, parking, staff, and food are all 1st class. Having talked to the Manager, Peter, I can tell as I mentioned above that the restaurant is run efficiently and customer friendly driven by a good management team.

Came for the Akaushi beef, but unfortunately, they ran out, so we ordered their classic ones instead. The prime rib was as good as always, and the service from our server was great. We'll be back again!
