   A great experience going to LaPorta. Efficient and friendly staff, excellent music, and very tasty menu. I strongly recommend.

   Great food but the wine and cocktail menus need an update. Very classic cocktails when competing with other restaurants and bars in the area. Overall nice restaurant, great food, superb service.

   My biggest complaint would be the tables are too close together which was made even more apparent when the busser came by and sprayed windex to clean the tables next to us. P

   Laporta’s is a nice restaurant with plenty of parking, making it a convenient dining option. The ambiance leans toward a nightclub setting, with very dim lighting—so much so that I had to use my iPhone flashlight to read the menu. The menu offers a decent selection of appetizers, salads, and entrées. I chose the Bourbon BBQ Hanger Steak mainly because it came with mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium-rare, though I’m not a big fan of BBQ sauce, so next time, I’ll ask for it on the side. The staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious. A pleasant surprise was the live jazz trio, The Satin Dolls, who provided a light, enjoyable atmosphere during dinner. We hadn’t realized there would be live music, but it was a great touch. Laporta's is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a nice restaurant with live jazz during dinner. The prices were also very reasonable, making it an even better experience.

   Seating in the bar area was quite loud. A game was playing and people were boisterous. But the pasta with shrimp was amazing!

   Went on Tuesday for the dinner for 2 with bottle of wine special for $39.99. You can upgrade wine at half price bottles. We had Grey Ghost Reserve Chardonnay. Dinner was delicious and polished off the mousse cake for dessert!

   Absolutely a hidden gem! Easy to find and free parking on weekends. Kudos to the chef and whole kitchen crew. We ordered the specials for the night which was very flavorful and a feast to your palate. Lovely live jazz was a great addition to the experience. Reservation was easy, seated quickly by the young host by the front area . Thank you for reading our request at accommodating it. And last but not the least, we truly enjoyed the service on table 11. I didn’t get his name but he was 100% one of the best; the way he presents the specials, answers your question and the sense of humor was astounding. We will be back!

    Yet another wonderful dinner last night at Laporta, one of our favorites. The food is not only delicious, well prepared and delivered hot, it is visually attractive and appetizing. The light and live background music was appreciated, the service attentive and friendly and the fresh flowers on the table, a refreshing boost to our spirits on an otherwise bad weather day. We are excited about coming back soon as it is always a wonderful night out! Thank you Team Laporta!
