Restaurants près de York Railway Station

Perfectly cooked wide variety of rare and well cooked meats. I went with 2 sons a d 2 grandsons and they tried their best to eat it all, they failed! It was a lovely evening and the Brazilian beauties shaking their booties and tossing their feathers were particularly enjoyed by tye boys of all ages! Thank you for a lovely night out. I should also say I was in a wheelchair and that was managed brilliantly

Excellent, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Our server Imogen was very professional and efficient and a credit to the restaurant. The Lobster Thermidor was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The only negative was the poor service in the hotel bar beforehand. We had to wait quite a while but no one came to take our order even though there were staff behind the bar. In addition, the loud crashing of glass bottles being thrown into the bin behind the bar really spoilt the ambiance, not a great start to the evening sadly

Lovely afternoon tea in the Garden Room. The sandwiches were nice and the scones were great, they were warmed and served with jam and clotted cream. We had the festive afternoon tea which meant the cakes were festive themed, I would prefer them be the usual cakes. I wasn’t a fan of the Christmas pudding or mince pie flavour. Overall, it was great. I would go back for regular afternoon tea but not the festive one due to the cakes. Service was amazing

Absolutely love this place, one of my favourites in York. This time I ate there with 4 non vegan friends and I was quite nervous about their reaction to the food as they've never eaten meals without meat before. They genuinely found the food delicious and we had a great evening, it made me incredibly happy to prove to them that vegan food is extremely tasty!

Loved every minute of the experience. Food was excellent, room was grand and service was great. I’ve done many afternoon teas and this is close to the top of my list. A little more filling in the sandwiches and it probably would make top spot.
