Restaurants près de Windermere Steamboat Museum

Initial first impressions were poor as we were asked to go to the bar to check in for our reservations and was ignored for over 5 minutes. Once checked in everything was great, service good and Pizza especially was amazing, my wife said it was the best pizza she had EVER had. Manager told us it was a new recipe for the base. We would definitely come back if only for this. The location is great as the view in great.

Beautiful room, outstanding food but bar service was a little slow. My only criticism. Would go again.

What a find! Not sure where to have a meal and Windermere was packed out. I tried the open table app. With no reviews it was a risk but the Ryebeck had a table free at the time we wanted. We were not disappointed. The restaurant newly refurbished was beautiful. Comfortable seats in the conservatory overlooking the lake. The young lady that served us had the right level of attentiveness and knew the menu which offered a good variety of choice, she offered suggestions and was extremely pleasant and efficient. The food when it cam was delicious; hot with fresh ingredients, generous portions and beautifully arranged...competitively priced too. Plates were warmed and linen napkins too...very important to my 88 year old Mother in law, and something you don't always get. The decor of the hotel is imaginative and fits the beautiful natural surrounding. There's plenty of parking spaces too. We would definitely return. It's quiet at the moment but I think as word gets round this restaurant will become very popular.
