Situées dans la région de la Ligurie, ces villages sont reliés par des sentiers médiévaux piétonniers. Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarolo et Riomaggiore sont étonnamment érigés sur des formations rocheuses abruptes. Ces villages constituent une destination touristique privilégiée.
