We serve quality pub grub, with our Sunday roast particularly popular. Through the day, the atmosphere is chilled and friendly – there is plenty to do, with board games,books on the shelves and a pool table. What do you do when you want something done properly – especially when you’re a long way from home and you simply can’t find exactly what you’re looking for? Well, the tried and tested answer, of course, is to do it yourself – and that is exactly what Giuseppe, founder of Sapore Vero did, when he created our first Pizzeria in Beckenham, South East London – now entering its 11th year of trade – and then opened a 2nd in nearby Hither Green in 2019. After moving to London (quite some years ago now!), Giuseppe quickly found himself becoming frustrated with a lack of truly authentic Italian pizza, “that I liked”, as he puts it, produced using the methods that he grew up with, like generations before him, in his native Calabria, Southern Italy.

    Visited The Spaghetti Tree Shirley with a group of 10 friends for a Christmas party. The food was excellent and all beautifully presented. Good portion sizes. Staff were all very friendly and professional. It was party night and the singer was really good and got the party going. We all had a brilliant night! Thank you everyone at the Spaghetti Tree.

    Justina and Gareth are great hosts and take a lot of trouble to explain their cheese and wine selection. They know the origin of each cheese and they have visited most of their producers and have a great understanding and depth of knowledge regarding the taste of each cheese,and the appropriate wine pairings!

    We pre booked. Great venue with clean spacious attractive ambiance. Friendly and made us very welcome. Wheelchair friendly and inclusive environment. Nothing too much trouble attitude very helpful covering service and busy bar. Amazing how they did it, there was a wait. So go to relax and enjoy your meal out don’t go when you have a tight schedule. If they want to make improvements this is an area to look at at an extra member of staff, it’s a very large venue and when full as it did get over the lunch time it must have been very stressful for those two staff members. Our Buddha bowl meals were delicious too. Starters not as good as the deserts they were fabulous. We had a great time and I would definitely go back again.
