Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. The focus is on fish but the menu transcends just fish, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour Split between two rooms, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. The back room - lower lighting, lower seating, a slight calm compared to the front room. Works of art from friends of the restaurant adorn the walls and floors

We had the burgers, potatoes and a couple more sides and they were all outstanding, and Guinness was perfect!

My friends and I had a wonderful night celebrating by birthday at Pasero. The staff were great all night and helpful with catering for dietary requirements. The food was excellent and we enjoyed having the feasting menu rather than having to choose our plates! On the pricier end once you add drinks, but this is a great local business and great all-round experience so worth it.

We made a last minute booking for 12pm and it did not disappoint! Service was really calm and the food was on point. The right amount per portion, we even had enough room to share one dessert. Thank you for a lovely Sunday roast and a beautiful crisp day.

Short staffed asked for napkins with food and we were totally forgottten. Guy serving at the bar was very good taller guy ignored me when I was obviously first and served a younger guy who just walked in. Was made to feel invisible
