The Sou'Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop began in 1967 as a small five table tearoom at the side of a house at its present location. It has been expanded over the last five decades to a 180-seat restaurant offering traditional Maritime and seafood dishes, and a two-level gift shop with one of the Maritimes largest selections of giftware. Today, more than 50 years later, The Sou'Wester is still run by the family of its founder, Jack Campbell.

Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration. But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. Les plats étais sublimes, des saveurs qui se marie très bien ensembles, les portions pour deux personnes sont parfaite. Par contre le service, était un peu lent et manque de coordination avec les accords de vins et l’arrivée des plats, un coup la commande passée les plats sont tous arrivés trop rapidement un à la suite des autres, les tables sont petites pour accueillir plusieurs plat à la fois, et nous avons eu l’impression qu’il voulait que l’ont quitte rapidement, alors que le restaurant n’était pas très occupé. Mais dans l’ensemble je recommande ce restaurant, les plats était succulent
