Shanghai 1814 was incredible, from beginning to end, everything was perfect. The interior, the service, the cocktails and food are just above and beyond. I'd recommend the salt & pepper soft shell crab for an appetiser and the spicy crispy prawns for main. The appetisers are quite big, you could probably share an appetiser between two people. We were celebrating my birthday, the waitress brought out a slab of cheesecake with a candle which was a lovely touch. I'd definitely recommend and return in a heartbeat.

The best sushi and fried calamari I've ever eaten! The gorgeous display that it comes in too, absolutely wonderful. The ambience, the service, the food and drinks, the decor, the price, everything was just perfect 👌 and they even brought a cake out for my daughters birthday. Can't recommend this place enough

One of the Best Italian restaurants I have eaten in . Service was excellent as was the food for quality & Taste . A real Gem of a restaurant. Would definitely recommend if in the Area . We went by Taxi from a nearby Hotel ,but be warned a return journey is a must unless using Uber. The owner took us back to our Hotel when we couldn't get a Taxi Back . Wow that shows customer service at it best .

Amazing service for my pup’s 1st birthday celebration!! Rebekah was the most attentive and fantastic server, even going so far to bringing a doggy ice cream with candle to sing happy birthday!! I honestly couldn’t have wished for a nicer experience… all the servers were so accommodating.. we ate from the weekend brunch menu and everything was delicious… this will now become a place I can see us frequenting often ❤️

The food was generally OK however my 'toast' with my pate was just literally a bit of bread that had been shown the chargrill for about a minute and no part was crisp. The rest of the food was great the service however was slooooow, drinks took ages to arrive, the rest of the food arrived in a reasonable time but clearing took a while and took us about 15 mins to pay the bill after it had arrived.
