Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays. Jeff Mahin et Francis Brennan,chefs et partenaires du groupe Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, apportent au Lincoln Park de Chicago, en Illinois, leur concept populaire de style californien, le Summer House Santa Monica. Akahoshi Ramen is a humble ramen shop in the city of Chicago. Everything is made in the restaurant, including all soups, seasonings, toppings, and noodles. We are not an authentic ramen shop, though we value the history of ramen, and our ramen is influenced by its past and its future potential. The dish, popularized in Japan after World War 2, is symbolic of both struggle and perseverance. It is both a simple dish, and a fantastically complex one that we treat with reverence and respect. Roughly translating to “Red Star,” the name “Akahoshi” is a love letter to two cities; Sapporo, Hokkaido, where red stars adorn city monuments, and Chicago, Illinois, where the red star decorates the city flag. Our ramen is influenced by Japanese and American ideals in cooking. We hope you will join us to enjoy a bowl of ramen, made with the respect and passion it deserves.

    Went for Santa Baby experience and it was AMAZING. I originally made reservations for the wrong date and it filled up- I was able to send a message and she changed the date for us (Thank you!!) When we checked in I was greeted with a birthday card signed by everyone (thank you!). All three stories were immersed in Christmas decoration. It wasn’t overly crowded, even for a Friday at 9pm. The drinks were good, service was 10/10. And as tiki bar lovers, we will be back next time we are in Chicago!

    A total gym in Lincoln Square if you get a chance, try going Wednesday nights they end up having live tango dancing. Food was delicious. Drinks were amazing.

    First time here. Tremendous blend of tastes from start to finish ! We tried 3 unique cocktails and were not disappointed. The Fig Carré is my favorite. For starters the Potted Carrots and Shaved Butternut First timers & Squash were delicious! Of the pastas our favorite ended up being Stuffed Farfalle with Pappardelle coming in 2nd. The rainbow trout was excellent & light. We so enjoyed every taste! The butter cake was THE BOMB. Service was attentive and top notch . Was exceptional culinary experience.

    Overall a great experience with our family of 5 plus a guest and third visit. The pulled noodles are not common even in Chicago so go for the Boso Lagman w/ beef. Dumplings and all appetizers are terrific and worth sampling. The Manty dumplings as an entree also very good and shareable. The Plov, chicken or beef, is great and very filling. We generally don’t get desert but the homemade honey cake which surprisingly wasn’t overly sweet was also great for sharing.
