Situated down a quiet side street, on the corner of elegant St Peter’s Square, The Carpenter’s Arms is an independent nineteenth-century pub with a beautiful garden where the food is the star.We focus on simple, beautifully cooked seasonal food. Our menu and Specials Board change daily: Simply cooked sustainable fish; British meats; delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and tempting puddings to finish. Simple dishes, big flavours.We are just as serious about good drink as we are about good food. Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Located at the heart of Tuscany, it has a history of exporting mouth-watering wines to England, having been possibly the very first to bring Chianti here in 1725. The menu features true Tuscan cuisine, with many of the ingredients being imported especially from the Villa and surrounding farms.
