It was a birthday celebration for me and family and friends were there to help me enjoy my day. It was an early Xmas gift for some of them as we can’t be together for the holidays. We were treated like royalty , many servers , very attentive. They anticipated our every need. Excellent service and great lunch

Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Service was prompt but not rushed. The food was excellent. Will definitely use again one of the nicest burgers I've had in a very long time.

We had a wonderful experience with the afternoon tea experience! It was all made very fresh , super tasty! We were checked in on twice to make sure everything was okay which was lovely . Everyone was super friendly and bubbly too! The cakes and scones were wonderful too and such a great variety of delicious food, the clotted cream and mouthwatering too! Highly recommend - Thank you!

At short notice we chose The Boars as it had easy access to the A11. So glad we did! We were immediately welcomed and given a choice of two menus. We chose the £12.00 mains and all three of us had the Flat Iron chicken. Absolutely delicious! Lovely simple presentation and very yummy. Two of our party had already decided to have the jam sponge with custard but were so pleasantly full they had to pass! It has been three years since our first visit to the boars and it may well have been our last as it was not the best of experiences. However we were so glad to have revisited and had an amazing time. We will definitely be back

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant. Food and staff excellent. A lovely venue and one that we will happily travel to.
