Every visit to Provenance is memorable. Every mouthful is delicious and always served by such charming staff who add to make it special occasion. Genuinely one of my favourite places to eat. Thank you.

Delicious dumpling selection and could have eaten everything from the menu, it all sounded so good!

The grantchester green man is fantastic. Service was so attentive and warm, the interior is beautiful with plenty space between tables even allowing extra room for the dog, who was made to feel very welcome. My daughter had the pork roast which looked and smelled fantastic. I ordered a burger and chips and was slightly disappointed by the presentation. The desert was outstanding, really recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Getting in early is a must as there is very little parking. Minor quibbles aside I would love to go back and try the garden area.

Great staff , wonderful food . Really made us feel welcome . A very busy night , a huge table was in , with very loud young people .. the staff managed them as well as they could . Couldn’t really hear our own conversations due to this other table . Staff apologised for the wait as was trying to get all there orders completed . Other than the other tables disruption , can’t fault staff , food and cost . Worth a visit

Excellent dinner! The service was great despite it being a busy Saturday night and the food was so delicious. If you like lamb, order the lamb shank - it falls off the bone and I ate everything, even the veggies because it was so yummy. The hot and cold appetizers were really tasty but the portions are huge so I would get 2 or the other for a small group. I preferred the cold appetizers but my daughter liked the hot one instead. We also lived that the mint tea was fresh mint leaves in the teapot. We will visit again for sure!
