Amazing food and fabulous service. Cocktails best I’ve ever had.

This restaurant never lets us down. It's perfectly situated for people watching right in the middle of historic Rochester. It's clean and stylish and the staff are always friendly and professional. There's a good mix of young and old enjoying the fresh seafood and great wines which means the vibe is great. Mussels were exceptional and the cheeseboard is big enough for 3 people! One of our favourite places to eat locally and somewhere we always take friends.

This restaurant is very good value, the food is excellent at reasonable prices. The whole place was full with dinners, which speaks for itself, so as can be expected the staff are very busy, but were attentive all the time we were there. I would highly recommend Turkuaz, and is worth a visit.

The Hengist has been tastefully and stunningly decorated with a real wow factor. Staff give a warm welcome and are friendly and attentive. The cocktails are out of this world with some ingenious presentation and taste amazing. Kieron is a brilliant mixologist and takes great pride in his creations. We visited on a Thursday evening and there was a lovely atmosphere and plenty of customers so I am glad we booked. We enjoyed some great cocktails and then had some delicious food. We opted for the mushroom risotto and the chicken supreme and both were amazing. There is a lovely garden and outdoor space which we plan to visit very soon with friends. Everything about this place is 10/10 and highly recommended. Thank you for a fabulous evening.
