As always great food and service. On this occasion it was missing a bit of its usual ambience possibly because the phone line was broken and it may have been difficult to make reservations. Shame but nevertheless a smashing meal.

The food was delicious and really reasonable price. The cocktail was definitely the highlight. And the lady serving us was so lovely and helpful as my cousin was asking about bottomless brunches. Very helpful and was a really lovely evening. Definitely will return.

Booked through Open Table and got 40% off the food (but not drink) so the cost was very good value for money. Food was good, but not outstanding, and could have been a little bit hotter (temperature as opposed to spiciness). Service was very good. Friendly waiters. Overall a pretty good meal out, though without the 40% off food I’m not sure it’s a place I’d go to again.

What a great pub! Was recommended this from our host and it was great. Good service, very good value food, one of the best sticky toffee puddings we’ve ever had - and we have a lot! I only gave it a 4 for the food because my chicken, which was lemon and herb, had little lemon taste and was slightly over done - just being fussy really. A lovely evening in a wonderful pub. Would thoroughly recommend.
